The PPI or producers product index which tracks the cost of raw good before manufacturing has shot up to a record 9.88% in the last month. No one talks about this because the CPI is all the guberment focuses on but the PPI has a much more drastic effect on inflation as it's the inflationary cost the producers of products are paying to make thier goods. It usually lags behind the CPI by a fair margin but not this time around. It's far higher and doesn't look to be slowing down, in fact it has NEVER been this high before in the 35 years it's been tracked.

So if shit is getting far more expense to make what do you think will happen to consumer prices?

I'll give you two guesses.

Yup. This morning made the weekly trek to the local donut shop. Got one custard donut for my wife, one glazed and one glazed twist donut. Last week cost for the donuts - $4.45. Today - $5.75.

Yesterday walked to Walmart. Last month a pack of 12 store-brand cupcakes was $3. Yesterday, $3.50.

New leases coming out any day at our apartment complex. Can expect a larger-than-usual rent increase.

Hispanics though are kind of a split. The more established Hispanics are breaking rank and moving more right, especially those who had roots in Cuba, Venezuela, and other Latin American countries ruled by communist despots.

On the other hand the DNC is letting millions of fresh migrants from the Carribean and Central/South America who they are relying on to pull the plug in the name of gibs and change red states ever closer to blue. They’re definitely going to use them for 2024 rigging/cheating.
