General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I'm pretty sure her live 2d has bottom teeth also. Back when this ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFJHdT_ie9U ) came out people spotted that she had bottom teeth, a theory was that either they were getting 2.0 upgrades soon, or that she had always had bottom teeth but her model is rigged in a way that only the scripted movements of the head bobbing actually allowed them to be seen and her normal motion doesn't bring them out. Since its been several months since then with no 2.0 models I assume it was is a rigging issue.

Edit: Now that I think about it, is it possible they used the girls 3d models for the song, because I can't think of why they would have a second live 2d Gura model with teeth but not let her use it.

Could still be 2.0, not like holding them back for 4+ months for some arbitrary (Corpo Japan) reason would be something new at this point for the EN crew. Could even be something like them not being software 3.0 compatible and needing more rigging or something dumb like not wanting to release a 2.0 before the 3D. Honestly lots of stupid reasons can be slotted in here.

Rigging issue in the 1.0 does seem the most likely thing though, we know Gura's 1.0 in particular has had issues in that department.

Yeah, I like Vox and this is my (not-so) irrational fear. Only a matter of time till chinks try to force him to say that Taiwan belongs to China or something. He might get pressured to say it, which would anger the EN fanbase. But if he doesn't, then it's going to be another Coco situation.
He can always just say "we're not allowed to talk about World Events."

Here is a summary of StarEnd's final Scrim match with multiple reactions of other teams. Towa is really the brain of the team. It's not added in this clip but before the match they joked about the fact they need roughly 20 killpoints to get the first place (they ended up winning with 17 kills which was enough) . One explanation why Towa needed to tardwrangle the aggressive Aqua even more than usual.
Also Jesus fuck, I've been following Aqua's stream for some time now, and god fucking damn does she pull in insane views. Kinda weird how it has a shit ton more dislikes than usual though.
Aqua's last stream peaked at 74k. I wouldn't be surprised if she pulls over 100k ccv for the final tournament, especially if they are doing well.

He almost got fucked with that taiwanese artist ASMR thing, but its a good thing he managed to avoid it.
Pretty sure Vox is well-informed about how dangerous it is to mess with Chinese fans, plus it's part of his chat rules (#3) that discussion of controversial topics isn't allowed. I can see him glossing over it or like what was said, might go with the "can't talk about world events" route.

Plus, I want to be :optimistic: and think fujos wouldn't purposefully jeopardize their favorite chuuba unless they're actually antis which would be weird since a noticeable majority of them are arabian oil prince-tier supa regulars.

Most of Filian's clips seem to be posted by Filian herself based on my recommendations.

Seems kinda annoying, trying too hard to be a "meme master" and also a bit thot-ish.

Not really my cup of tea.

Last one unfortunately is privated but I liked the Ririsya one a lot, the first is a bit too cutesy for me.

And with Aqua, yeah, usually if you play with players your level they won't let you be as dumb and you can't bully them into just doing what you say.
Fair about Marika but she is more insane then cute
Plus her and the circle she is in reminds me of some oddtaxi stuffs...

Veibae's live and pretending she doesn't know who Sodapoppin is (after he was banned for "accidentally" drawing blackface on a character), and in unrelated news is opening up streamer boyfriend applications.
Vshojo drama sustains me, humongous twitch streamers getting banned is a good bonus too.
>Jerma has been over 5 years on twitch and 10 years over all as a e-celeb
>Zero drama to this day

How does he do it?
At this point i wonder which chubas are winning in cucking their viewers, Vshoujo has an e-girl who cheated on her active service husband and then this autism lmao, at this point its more cuckery than deadbeats :tomgirl:
Difference is that Mori probably isn't getting any kind of dick and is cuckqueen herself.

TL;DR, Selen started releasing YT shorts recently; one of them caught on in the algorithm, and the comments are about what you'd expect from people who are part of it.
"you know i hate anamy girls but i like when pet the dog" is a mantra we could all benefit from living by.

Which is weird considering they already were using 1 server but whatever I guess
They have the JP server, the World server (basically ID/KR/kinda EN), and the specifically EN server.

Have common sense and not be a bitch. Jerma also distances himself from fans a considerable amount and never really feels forced. He's so genuine that at this point if he were to get into drama, it'd be really shocking and not in his character at all.

Niji is going to merge their Minecraft servers and make a Riku Takumi statue to commemorate the merge.

There are currently separate servers for JP, KR, ID, and EN, plus a World server that everyone can use.

You might have misunderstood me. I know they have separare servers
But they used to not have a separate server until last year - before every Niji talent played on the main World Server. I find it stupid to retro actively have every branch then make a server of their own and then make a huge event out of a problem you made yourself

Kind of like HoloID making their own server when they were already playing on JP in the first place. It's unnecessary.

In servers where the vast majority of players are not technical and like making a mess for content scarcity of resources and space is a thing even in minecraft.
Also there's much more content you can farm from having cross server collabs, Holo had like 2 months of free collabs just from the merge

JP has used their own server since at least 2018/19, originally made by Dola. You can easily find clips from back then. Later they made another JP server that is linked by portal. JPs have never been active on Niji World Server (besides Kanae and Hoshikawa most have barely touched it) because they already had their own servers.

THE MERGE IS ON.

ID/KR will be officially integrating into the main branch starting today. They made an updated roster which includes members that have announced graduation but are yet to do so (Song Mia, Chiho Han, and Warabeda Meiji), but a keen eye may notice the complete absence of Chae Ara.

Holo ID getting its own server just to merge it with JP and EN servers is more do do with balance and uniformity. EN got its own server while ID just played on JP's. Then when they merged the servers and you could go back and forth between the two but they each had there own place while ID suddenly felt just felt out of place and lesser, and Cover has mentioned several times in the past about not wanting branches or generations to feel superior or lesser to others. Giving them there own server and just linking it in to the the other two was a way of making all three feel balanced, even if there is nothing stopping a ID member from building on JP/EN or a EN from building on JP/ID.

What is happening with Niji's does feel weird though, they all shared a server then split up and are now coming back together. Even weirder that it didn't happen all at once, like if they decided to give each branch its own space by keeping the main world intact as a shared communal build world but adding portals from it to special servers for each branch, where each branch got to make it there own but there were all still connected that would make some sense. This just feels like poorly forward thinking and back tracking.

JP server dates back to 2018. You can find streams of it. I linked one in my previous comment. KRs and IDs have visited JP server but they made their own servers pretty quickly to play on themselves.

I'm not sure where this idea that they were all on one server until recently comes from. Genuinely curious. I don't recall ever seeing any non-JP play on the JP servers (Dola's server and the linked ones) beyond visits. Meanwhile the JPs never played much on the World server despite being allowed to.

In unrelated Niji news, Luxiem is getting a collab cafe in Japan via Sweets Parade.
