Game Grumps used to be grumpy back when Jon was around.

Regarding the fight, in my head Arin will go out expecting to do a bit and Harley will actually punch him around the side of the head. Knocking him clean out.
I've been hoping for the same thing. An Uwe Boll vs. Lowtax moment for the little guy. It could be his her John Numbers moment too.

Supermega is suing Jackson (popular channel editor who was like a third member) for embezzlement

That fucking sucks, I loved Jackson's mixed drink videos.

Heres a link to the full complaint. I imagine its awkward as hell at the SuperMega office right now, since I'm pretty sure Jackson's two other brothers work for them as well.

Over $10k in alcohol
More than $40 spent on Steely Dan sweatpants.
More than $450 spent on a “Persona 25th Anniversary Deluxe Vinyl Box Set” described to his fiancée as an “investment”.
He commonly had doordash/grubhub charges that were over $50, even though he was spending hundreds on groceries and alcohol in the days prior.
Over $70 on Coffee in one sitting, multiple times
$12 on Fortnite every month
Over $500 on Tiki Gonzo shit, which I am pretty certain he showed off in a patreon-exclusive video.
In March 2021, on back to back days he spent over $100 on separate doordash orders to somewhere other than their office.
He spent about or over $7k January 2022 and October 2021 alone, then was promptly fired on Feb 4.

What gets even better is the picture evidence they have

$40 on Minions merch at Universal Studios Hollywood

1650076150514.png

$450 on Persona merch

Hundreds of dollars at the tiki bar

I just don't know how they didn't catch all of this, did they just have the card on auto pay?

I like how he advertised himself as "America's bad boy of Twitch"

$10K on alcohol... Can't say I'm surprised Jackson couldn't come up with a better excuse, man's brain is cooked.

The Persona vinyl is Kino though, respect.

What's really tragic is that Jackson is apparently a long-time friend of Matt, and even couch surfed with him for a bit. Don't follow Supermega that much anymore, but I feel for them here, shitty situation.

Maybe I'm exceptional, but I don't understand how you could easily confuse a credit card from your employer with one from your dad and then also not realize you've spent all of that money on said business card.
I've accidentally used my company card for an Uber or Grubhub when I forgot to switch cards in the apps after a business trip...Imagine trying to explain a Minion shirt, though.

Addition just make people do the shittest things and act on impulse. He is clearly an alcoholic and needs some professional help

If Jackson is their close friend & this was a true blue "accident" I'd imagine he would be scrambling on his hands & knees to try & work something out. He isn't though, they are suing him to recover losses. So Jackson in the best scenario accidently embezzled money & said lol fuck off I'm not paying you back. He must have just stole it because even if you give Jackson the benefit of the doubt he still looks like a dick.

Yeah that's one of the biggest troubles when you do business with friends you close with. if something goes south, things get real messy with your work and out of work relationship.

I really feel for those two. either way they lose a close friend.

Yeah that's what immediately stood out to me about this. According to their own documentation:
1. They discovered he used the company card for a shitload of non-company purchases.
2. They asked him about it and he admitted that yes, the purchases happened on the company card, and that he mistakenly used it for personal purchases.
3. ???
4. They cut ties with the dude.
5. They're suing him for embezzlement.

What the fuck happened at step 3? Ostensibly it wasn't him saying "Yeah my bad guys, this was my fuckup and I'll pay you back the money I owe" since that doesn't typically involve starting a long and arduous court process.

I can't even think of what could possibly have happened that wasn't "fuck, I'll pay it back I swear", but the lawsuit suggests otherwise.
