Being very charitable, I would say 100 dead, another 300 in the hospital from injuries and exposure. The temperature of the Black Sea is 60 degrees right now, and the sinking happened at night. Hypothermia and Hypothermia related drowning is a real issue below 70 degree water temperature.

According to Ministry of Defense, the last remaining Mariupol defenders have retreated into the bunkers under Azovsteel factory - apparently there is an entire defense network built after WW2, so they are taking full advantage of it - but are low on food, water and ammo and are paging Kiev for the permission to surrender. Kiev says no and "threatens executions in accordance with war time law".

Not sure if I buy it, but that's what the Russian high command is feeding to the newsies.

Believe Japan has already supplied some stuff to Ukraine, would expect more as time goes on. You also have a rather substantial Japanese military which can stave off any Russian conventional military riposte against Japan.
