This is what feminists mean by ~the patriarchry~. It's not ~evil men~ doing horrible, unspeakable things to ~oppress womenz~, it's just a lot of fairly normal, but jerky, men using their positions of power - whatever those positions are or however they got them - in little annoying ways to make women's lives a little bit (or a lot) worse than theirs. It's the double standards like this that women see all the time.

It's not a ~giant conspiracy~ all men are in on, it's just a lot of individual dumb men being dicks to women as a sex, because of our sex, because they can. Because they want what they want and don't care if it hurts women, because we aren't really people. We give it a fancy title because people need to be able to call these individual, but very similar, actions by different individuals something.

So most women can't have nice things because some men are assholes.

This one has been extensively documented in the SRS Surgery Horrors thread where we have nicknamed her ElephantDick. As you can see from the post I linked, she clearly lurks on the Farms or knows someone that does. I can't decide what's the worst aspect of this monstrosity: the literal calzone wrap sprouting from like an inch below her navel, the sad saggy empty boob socks that used to be filled with healthy breast tissue, or the unmistakably feminine hands and body shape. It's just that unique blend of horrifying and fascinating.

Exactly. Men with the attitude of “awe look she thinks she’s people” are way more common than men who are full-blown publicly on board with female oppression. Unfortunately, men on either end of that spectrum are capable of fucking up a woman’s shit without much resistance. Being confronted with that day in and day out is like death by a thousand cuts.
