Im surprised holoEN its still relevant even with the menace of twitch EN vtubers and their lewd/degenerate culture. I dont want the future to become the latter but with vshojo & nijiEN joining forces im kinda afraid honestly. How long holoEN content will last in these conditions? I dont know for sure, its a type of content i really love and without it i would quit watching EN vtubers, unless a susprise holoEN replacement with the same type of content or better comes in the next years.

I don't think you really have anything to worry about. As seemingly niche this thread + /vt/ is, there really is an audience for the seiso or idol-type experience which VShojo and Nijisanji do not provide in EN even if you can find the right kind person who does more Holo-like content. Niji's concert-type events are much rarer compared to Hololive, and so-on and so-on with the companies differences.

I believe the general westerner prefers Twitch-type streamer culture which is what I'm assuming your worry stems from - HoloEN very much caters to the JP style of streaming where they're very hands off with chat and, well, you're here to watch the idol play a game. A decent enough group WANT that disconnect between streamer and audience, so don't worry about your preferred style of content disappearing because the other group is playing the penis game loud enough.

The problem is HoloEN could have easily dealt with the "vshitshow menace" a long time ago and grabbed viewers but instead they didn't do anything and let them be.

HoloEN can be on YouTube, but they should have also done Twitch streams too to get as wide of the western audience as possible. Instead they left it until it was too late.

NijIEN gives Melody's yab club the time because they can't go near HoloEN. I don't think all NijiEN watchers want constant vshitshow collabs but they keep on happening.

Just remember, if NijiEN had sense, TTS tranny would have been told to fuck off after organising the absolute abortion that was the GMod collab. Instead they keep getting invited.

There's one hybrid genre that wasn't explored enough in the gaming industry and it's RTS/FPS, one old series that pulled it off was Battlezone 1&2 - it's a very niche game, and the concept was pretty cool. Big AAA dicks like Electronic Ass/Shitzzard/Acti-Shit won't make a modern game like that.

As a regular Niji viewer, it's rather apparent that some of the talent come strictly from Twitch backgrounds / fandoms and thus gravitate towards these collaborative efforts with VShojo and Offline TV. Luca, Fulgur and Selen are the most obvious examples of this and are often at the forefront of these gatherings. Some not so subtle about hiding the fanboy levels. I can't wait for the next wave to have Vincesauce sperg and we're treated to a cringe Lime's collab.

It's no secret that select names from HoloEN and NijiEN wish to intermix. However management from one or both sides continues to block it. HoloID and NijiID are allowed to intermesh with no problem. Hell, HoloJP and NijiJP have even done plenty together. Subaru even appeared apart of the Koshien tournament (the winner got added to the game) last year!

Frankly this is just another example of pettiness from a company level impacting the fan and creative level.
