Because the Consoomer is not a rational entity that researches and evaluates the matters they face and picks and appropriate product for their needs - They are an entity that listens to CNN and the big news man said wear a cloth mask - at that time they were still telling people medical masks didn't work/weren't needed so they could funnel them all to their own needs and not have normies buying them.

I think it's more a case of someone stating what they think will happen and other people thinking it's an endorsement of that outcome.

Feels like they are testing the waters with wanting to move back towards center in the wider scheme of things. At the most basic level, left-wing audience numbers are hot garbage and they really need to start saving ratings before the economy fully craters out - thats when you're investors start realling telling you to stop fucking around before they just leave.

At a higher level of introspection, the cult of woke was ultimately supposed to lead these companies to vast profits, docile and easily controlled workers separated on ideological lines, and the political inroads to crush uprising competitors. The cost of this was their veritable soul, via lies of omission or fact, and suppression of truth. They held up their side of the deal, but they are seeing that the other side is not. Workers are more angry, aggressive and demanding than ever before. Their people are not easily controlled, but are instead directly and maliciously weaponizing their platform for their own gains, at their expense. Anyone who causes problems to this end is torn down publicly by the woke cult. They may be slowly coming to wisen up to the monster they have created, and are trying to disassociate from it - its too late to kill it.

There are no unsinkable ships, there are no unbreakable prisons, and there are no unkillable monsters.

The woke monster is very much killable. You just have to be funnier than it. Get enough people laughing at it and then they'll wonder why they were ever afraid of it in the first place.

I think that there was definitely a call made by THEM! that Sleepy Joe was no longer off-limits, but I suspect that the direction THEM! is aiming for is "more left, more coherent"

It's just laying the groundwork for him not being the nomination in 2024.

They won't want to run Kamala, but what's the chances they boot Biden. Have the first female and black President. Go all "YAZ QUEEN" and then run another white man. Or if they do run her, it'll only be because they know Trump will win (if they haven't managed to stop him running) and it'll be a great optic to further racially divide America.
