I've watched most of his streams during this so I'll try answer the ones I can that are more factually based and not based on his mindsight.
1. He said he went to Kiev the night before the invasion started to handle some business with his visa.
2. He mentioned that his wife and kids had gotten out of Kharkiv, he didn't specify if they had left the country or just went to some safer area in the country, just that they weren't in Kharkiv.
3. I think he was briefly with his family before the Banderites supposedly came to his place or at least claimed to be. Otherwise I don't know
4. Half those are his true thoughts on the matter, half for internet clout but only he can say for sure.
5. Probably hubris, wanting clout, but once again only he can say,
6. No clue.
7. Hubris probably but who knows.
8. He said at the time that he was under the impression that there were no trains or buses going to the east of the country which I can buy because somehow he doesn't understand a bit of Russian or Ukrainian.
