I don't know the exact physical reason but I think no, once you go from the blockers to cross-sex hormones your genitals and gonads will never develop properly because they've missed the window, that's why kids who do it end up permanently sterilized.

I believe the "wisdom" is that violence is now and has been seen by some (i.e., progressive-minded people) as producing any and every sort of distress or harm--particularly emotional harm. So because some thin-skinned fellow is offended by being referred to as the gender he rightfully is, that therefore gives him an excuse to call that violent.

Though really it's just a method of taking the physical connotation of the word violence and making mere words out to be far more impactful and dangerous than they really are.

I've seen this exchange before, I know exactly what happened here. Wife finishes reading Rowling's essay after about ten minutes of silent focus. She brings it up to the husband. Because the husband never read the essay, he points her towards the way he consumed it and formed an opinion on it: watching a TWO HOUR LONG Contrapoints video. As he's pulling it up on the TV she goes hahaha, what, no, I have shit to do today. Husband replies 'but you're blowing me off and dismissing my sources!"
