The goal of a feeding tube or TPN (it's actually total parenteral (not through the mouth) nutrition) is gaining weight though. Why would Eugenia want that? She could purge through a G-tube, but she can also just do that normally.
She'd probably need it if she ever wanted to restore her weight though.

Eugenia has the endurance to change clothing a million times, go places to preen for the camera, talk and move a fair bit for the entirety of her long ass streams, etc. She does fuck all by normal people standards but she's probably exhausted at the end of the day. Anachans can often persist with their daily routine like nothing is wrong past the point where they should probably be in a hospital on bed rest. Likely because many of them have the perfectionist/highly self critical personality type with incredible willpower and stubbornness, and as I've said, that counts for a lot.

My point is, Eugenia is a long haul ana who clearly knows how to take care of herself (to the extent she can, up to the point of eating actual food). She's reached kind of an equilibrium. I'd bet she manages the slow digestive tract with over the counter laxatives, I suspect she'd have to in order to avoid an impaction or something considering how little water she drinks. I'd think diligent with taking multivitamins and whatnot to try and mitigate damage she knows she's doing. There isn't a snowball's chance in hell she'd consent to TPN and honestly it's counterproductive to go that route for anorexia because it puts stress on the organs and allows the digestive tract to atrophy even worse. It doesn't address any of the psychological aspect either which is kinda the whole point of treatment. If they absolutely need to, an NG tube is typically used as it's meant to be very temporary. Gut tubes are a common fixture in the munchie thread but only because they can purge through it without barfing, the doctors who hand these out to BPD/ED women in hopes they'll use it for its intended purpose are fucking quacks. Eugenia isn't a munchie though and probably thinks it's so not cute to have medical devices hanging off you anyway.

Pretty much she's just fucked unless she gets a job or relationship or something to focus on and gets a life that doesn't center her disorder. As it is now, her existence has got to be pretty fucking bleak.

Even if she wanted to recover, I think she's too far gone at this point. The physiological stress on her organs from refeeding would be too much. Maybe, maybe Denver ACUTE could get her stable enough to get treatment, but I think that's unlikely. She'd have an uphill battle ahead of her just trying to address all of the physical damage, and the psychological aspect is probably insurmountable.

Regardless of what she does, she will have a shorter lifespan than the average person and I don't think she wants to accept that. If she doesn't want help, she'll probably drop dead of a heart attack. As much as people consider her a walking skelly miracle most anorexics have died by their late 30s if they've refused to turn their lives around, hell ones that have been trying to recover have suddenly died around that age as they'd already done too much damage to the heart.

If she decides to recover, in her case it will be very gradual. The average person takes about 7 years to fully recover from an eating disorder, probably longer for Eugenia as she seems to have had it for most of her life. She'd likely live longer, but she will have very serious damage. While she's continuing social media I don't think she'll ever recover. Her ED IS her life and it's what she's known for. Despite the fact she could get a massive fanbase from documenting her recovery, she needs to want help. That simply won't happen, especially while she's living with her sea cow of a mother who encourages the disordered behavior in the first place.

regular popular YouTubers have this issue too - i do recall Markiplier and other related people saying they've had incidents of people figuring out their address and showing up at their front door. granted, they're WAY bigger than Eugenia, but they take standard precautions and aren't so flagrantly throwing themselves in harms' way.

She would gain too much if she gained 100, but she could do 40 or 50. I’m guessing she’s in the 60/70 lb range and I do think she was naturally thin. As a child.

She started to look kinda cute after Shane’s doc (although she was wearing baggy stuff and covering her body, but her face looked better) but at this point even if she got to 100-120 lbs she’s probably going to have healh issues that show. She’ll have fat on her face and her teeth will look more natural but she’ll always have prominent teeth,

TBH, I’ve never seen an anorexic who fully recovered so don’t know exactly what she’d be left with. I know the first one I see won’t be Eugenia. Herbs and Alters has relapsed too; unsurprising since she was still heavily focused on it.

My mother did. She had Anorexia in her younger years and survived it. Still had thoughts about weight, but she did get out of it.
