Culture Parent dressed as Easter Bunny handed out condoms at Austin elementary school, district says - Probably a redditor

The Austin Independent School District is reevaluating safety protocols after a parent dressed up as the Easter Bunny was reportedly handing out Easter eggs on the Gullett Elementary School campus.

Some of the eggs contained candy, but others contained unopened condoms, according to a letter sent to Gullett families.

The parent was asked to leave, but then moved to a public sidewalk and continued to give away eggs, the district told KXAN.

“We are working to review our safety protocols to ensure this does not happen again,” said an AISD spokesperson. “It was an incredibly careless and inappropriate action of a parent.”

In a letter to parents, Gullett Elementary School Principal Tammy Thompson said the event was not planned, nor sanctioned by the school. The letter said officials spoke with the parent about the “inappropriate nature of their activity.”

Sex education curriculum at AISD​

Currently, the youngest students in Austin ISD aren’t even learning anything related to “human sexuality and responsibility.” K-2 lessons are on hold as the district works to revise lessons based on recent legislation.

Austin ISD is in the process of updating its human sexuality and responsibility curriculum as a whole. The district’s program provides information and skill development for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Instruction is given annually in November and December for elementary and middle school students.

This is the death of society right here. We are so wrapped in policy and civility we see a pedophile openly attempting to groom children and we just shrug say "can't do nuffin". In a decent society this person would have been beaten to death in the streets the laws be damned.

So they were learning human sexuality and responsibility at the nice ages of 4 to 7? I'm also surprised he can't get arrested on some sort of giving sex objects to a literal kid or some such.
 
If you can't have drugs within 1000 feet of a school, why are groomers allowed to do stuff like this across the street?

Color scheme of the costume could provide clues. Stupid pastels or neons and you’re safe to assume it’s a furfag.

Other articles have more information. The woman is supposedly a pharmacist and dressed up as the easter bunny and handed out eggs with condoms in them as part of a sex health meeting/seminar thing because that's just a normal thing people do. She then went to pick up her kid while still wearing the costume and was "mobbed" by all the kids leaving school so she started to give them candy, because handing out candy to kids you don't know outside their school is totally cool. Then she ran out and called her husband to bring more but he brought her the leftover condom eggs instead of the kid friendly eggs which is a totally understandable mistake and not something you'd even bother to check. I haven't seen anything specify exactly how long she was there, but as this article says, the school told her to leave and she moved to the sidewalk just off school property and kept doing it. At that point, the school should have completely intervened and kept the kids away from her imo, they just watched a bunch of little kids running off school grounds unescorted and taking "candy" from a stranger in a bunny suit?
 
I think we can all agree the condoms should have been chocolate but at least they were unopened and unused. It actually could have been worse.
 
At the very least they should have been edible condoms.

The high school I went to has the same thimh mostly because the pregnancy rate for a certain demographic was like 1 to 8
