I don't think he has been captured by Ukrainian militias. If he had been held prisoner, beheaded by Dudayevite Chechens (or Azov) or duck taped naked to a flagpole with dog food smeared on his balls we would have a photo of that. He might have been disappeared dirty war style by Ukrainian intelligence but that implies they have nothing better to do than black bag elderly youtubers. If he is dead I think the most likely cause would be the heavy Russian artillery and air strikes on Friday and the weekend to revenge the Moskva.

If he was killed in a bombing there might be an initial identification of remains from his mail order bride but they aren't going to go on the internet to announce the death of reowned political commentator Gonzalo Lira or bother contacting the Chilean embassy.
