My dad taught HR for several decades, and one of his favorite articles was an obit about Steve Jobs in some business magazine. It described how Jobs had this sort of effect on people that caused people to just become complete sycophants and believe whatever the fuck he wanted. I think a similar phenomenon applies to Jim, however it's more like his effect causes everybody within a certain radius to treat him like the quarterback of the football team and act like bitchy cheerleaders.

Coincidentally I watched the clip of Jim calling into AF not that long ago. Nick said that anonymity on the internet was important and was dismayed at seeing it slowly be eroded, now he calls Metokur a coward and a faggot because he's not stupid enough to willingly intertwine his real life with his shitposting online like Nick did.

I think that Jim's near universal appeal in this sector has a lot to do with his ability to not take the internet too seriously, but also because he hasn't been face-doxxed yet. Assuming Nick actually talks to Jim 1-on-1 style, I expect him to be laughed at hardcore, I have little doubt that Nick has a whole lot he could try and hit Jim with that wouldn't either be A. a repeat of something Ralph said or B. uninformed/hypocritical/hollow bullshit. Jim seems to be getting more and more involved in good old fashioned shitflinging once more.
