Say you are living your normal life, one day a war breaks out in your home country, you have to send your family away but you stay in the city to fight or help those who don't leave carry on. The war drags on. In other major cities the enemy is repelled or takes hold and hundreds of civilians are found murdered in the streets, some with their hands bound.

You suddenly realize the harmless seeming foreign old man hiding out down the street who had previously been only a minor annoyance has been confidently releasing videos worldwide with zero evidence that war crimes carried out hundreds of miles out of his site and under the fog of war were the act of your own countrymen based only on the logic of "don't believe West." These people he accuses are indistinguishable from the people currently fighting and dying on the front lines mere miles from you to protect everything you care about from being turned into dust.

At any day the enemy could roll into your city with tanks maybe pull you from your home and execute you in the street claiming you were a soldier or spy for your homeland. If this happens this unassuming old man would watch from his window then walk out of his hiding spot flashing a Chilean passport and be carried to the closest available TV camera where he would tell the world you were murdered by your own country during a cowardly retreat only to frame the brave Russian army.

It’s not like he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and just so happened to get caught up in a bad situation. Nobody forced him to stay in Ukraine and run his mouth on Russian TV, he did that all of his own accord. He deserves it not because he’s an internet sperg, but because he’s a real life literal retard who could’ve retreated to safety, but chose to stay in a war zone while painting a massive target on his own back.
