Damn, where the hell you getting those for free, they're like $40 new in the US.

$400 now

Came into the shop attached to a shitty beginner acoustic, for some reason. I don't understand the mentality that buys a £50/$65 (new) acoustic and then puts a strap and capo on it that cost as much together as the guitar did.

I bet that bloke walked out happy with the 2 quid you gave him.

Oh, I forgot about something else, too (until I banged my toe on it, on the way to the kitchen); snagged a Behringer FCB1010 MIDI controller for a tenner, the other day. Gonna see about using it to control Guitar Rig/Amplitube.

Damn you and your bargains, I hope you stubbed your pinky toe and spilled your tea!

I have seen tutorials in the past for getting those working with DAW's and the rig simulator software in live mode. Will see if I can find one for ya.

Have you tried Overloud-THU?

I think I've got Overloud-THU in my folder of "shit I haven't gotten round to installing yet", is it good, then?

It is very good. I generally stick with my GR5 presets I haven't delved into OTHU that much, only had it a year or two, but from what I've messed around with. wew my fren, sus it out.

There's this metal section with some old school Swedish metal tones that will make you wet your pants. I might fire it up and record some noodlins.

You know when I cleaned up my desk and set up the new interface I realised I had the old one plugged into my powered hub.

Around the time I got the new PC I moved the interface from on top of a cabinet to on my desk under the monitor for easy access to the gain knobs and must have autism plugged it into the usb hub instead of back directly into the PC, I'm thinking now that's why it only worked through the usb headset and glitched with ASIO4ALL set to the outs being either the desktop speakers or the outs on the audio device cause I do remember it working fine. I'm pretty sure it will work fine plugged directly into a usb port but wont do much better than 17ms being so old, will be handy for a portable device with a laptop. Was overdue for an upgrade anyway but one of those, fuck I'm retarded moments.

btw, while we're showing off (((steinberg))) asio drivers with a 3700x, nvme and 32gb. I was going to pay 4x the amount for this kind of latency on one of those Digigrid ethernet devices and that doesn't have midi.

Nice, I'm around the same, 3600, 32gb 3800CL16, Sabrent Rocket Q NVME. My Behringer UMC22 isn't as fancy, but the results are okay.

Not used Guitar Rig for a while but at one time you could right click on something like a wah or filter and then move the pedal on the controller so the software would pick up the CC number.

I hope all my New Zealander fruit growing guitar frens have a nice trad and based Easter long weekend.

Whether you are an Atheist edgelord, based Pantheist/Agnostic, Christian, Catholic or an American whose taxpayer dollar goes to supporting Judaism and the fine state of Israel.

Enjoy your Good Friday fish dinner and your choccy eggs mates.

Just ordered a Pignose in tweed. For most people that will sound like some sort of deviant behaviour that you can do on a religious holiday if you can get away with it.

The preamp out on the battery Pignose is one of the great bass distortion sounds. And it might be the best tiny guitar amp. (Old Champs and Orange Micro Darks are better for some things, so they cost a lot more.) Good buy.

Is the preamp powerful enough to power a 2x12 cab? I've got one of those cig packet amps that can so in theory the Pignose should as well.

I thought I just woke up from a dream where I got my first dose of the vaccination and developed low functioning autism and posted on a forum related to kiwifruit and then realised this is my fucking reality and it wasn't a dream.

Saw this in the local cash converters near where I had my clot shot. God pawn stores are such a skeevy kike place, one of the workers asked me if I needed any help and I almost slapped his yarmulke of his head.

1990's Tokai Breezysound Telecaster Thinline Factory Prototype - Aluminium Body - 4k Aud

Sent to us directly from the factory in Hamamatsu during their old stock clear out (as we're the new Australian distributor of Tokai), this is one of the most incredible guitars i've ever had the pleasure of owning. One of two prototype models made in the 90's that lived in the factory for over 20 years, it's a Talbo style construction utilizing a hollow brushed aluminium body in a custom made Telecaster thinline shape with a grill-covered F hole. There's a wood block under the bridge for some extra stability, otherwise it's a completely hollow design that resonates beautifully both acoustically and through an amp. 22 frets on a rosewood fretboard and a maple Breezysound neck with a nicely rounded medium profile. Weighing just over 4kg's, it's loaded with a pair of Filtertron style humbuckers along with a three way pickup toggle and master volume/tone knobs. Seems to have been unused during it's years stored away in the factory, frets are almost perfect and there's no real signs of wear and tear. Given a basic setup and restring prior to listing.

FUCK, I love me a tokai. And for the same price as a mulecaster you're getting yourself a metel tele WITHOUT giving money to commies? I'm rating this as a Deal.
Hell, I'm still tempted by the commie version:

I'd grab it if I didn't just snag me my first strat (any pup recs? I only know muh buckers, I'm lost in SSS-land)

I've been very impressed with the fluence stuff but I'm leaning true vintagy or budget-vintage that's been confirmed as 'good enough' ...at least while I get a feel for what strat tone is all about (if I go active I'd be tempted to go for a lace sensor corgan set first)

My current passives have more output than my lp so I know something is off (it has pafs but still)

Of course all this is meaningless, since as-is, I'm getting an enjoyable tone.
