Meh. The president hired thugs to intimidate protesters and even tried to get the army involved, ended up passing laws which suppressed dissent.
Mmmmkay. And Assad just had the police launch a little tear gas and the Israelis only engaged in a little "enhanced" crowd control. "Terrorist" and "freedom fighter" is a thin line.

But multiple thousands dead is a bit more than, "intimidating protestors", your gift for understatement aside.

The fucking "coup" was a corrupt government official fleeing the country and the parliament voting to remove him from power.
Based on your comments it would be a waste of time to attempt a discussion of the few and narrow circumstances under which a Ukrainian president could be removed from power pre-2014, or the legal/legislative requirements for such. In short, none of them applied.

No. They were given the option to join the RF or return to the 1992 constitution.
What you're lamenting is the lack of an option to continue to be a part of the failed state of Nuevorussia. It seems to elude you that, based on the results of said referendum and what's occurred in the years since, that the people of the region didn't want to be a part of said failed state - the way the peoples of the DPR and LPR don't want to be a part of that failed state.

You need a time out from this thread bro, you're beyond retarded.

You have posted at least 5 times in each page of this thread (the ones I've read - I skip like 200 at a time which is even more scary). Go outside buddy.

Edit: nvm, did the math. You've posted 10 times a day since you joined in Jan exclusively in this thread.

Who said what about shill?

Most of what he posts are sources and videos, I hardly think that's something to complain about. Even if he wasnt; Posting a lot isnt exactly a crime.

Is mommy winning? Really?

Here's hoping. Maybe Mussolini will win in Italy, too. You're a wop, right? Is she any good?

Northern Ireland Secretary about Cossack Gundi and Shaun Pinner: "you shouldn't have been there"
Less than 2 months ago the same people were promoting the foreign legion and it was a noble & heroic thing to join them.

I think that the next coming days we will witness how Cossack Gundi will fall apart and turn into a pathetic crying mess. Right now he's still in
denial and has good hopes. He probably believes that it's just a formality and that he will be in the UK by next week or at least by the end of this month.

Edit - Vince disagrees.
A few weeks ago I mentioned how the tide seems to be turning on the public perception of Russia and there's a possibility that they went too hard too fast in the hopes that Russia went "welp, my bad" and abandoned the whole thing, only to end up escalating the situation to where neither country could simply negotiate peace.

Saying today that people "shouldn't have been there" shows how the narritive is slowly changing as Britain and co are starting to go "wait shit this war is going on longer than expected, we need to ease the public anger right now so we can resume trading soon". I have a feeling soon weapons will start drying up and shortly after that it'll be aid and we'll hit a situation where politicians are publicly backtracking on all their anti-Russia/pro-Zelensky comments in the hope that the public fury simmers down.

I've noticed within the past few weeks that the Azov battalian have actually been named as Azov battalian and not "Ukrainian forces", which seems to suggest that the media is gently turning it from Russia - Ukraine to Russia - Azov and making it easier to stomach when Russia captures those areas.

I hope everyone is archiving all these comments by France, UK, US etc. because it's going to get incredibly spicy when they're all left in a no win situation of negotiating with Russia and pissing off the bulk of the voter base or not negotiating with Russia and seeing the cost of practically everything rise, pissing off the bulk of the voter base.

Again, that is trying to have a political discussion when the matters are military in nature. The people in the DPR and LPR are not really a consideration when the invasion is moving past the separatist regions and advancing towards Western Ukraine. National identity isn't the problem here, it's the actual conditions on the ground. And Russian troops had to shoot into the air and toss flash grenades to disperse protesters telling them to go home. Ukraine suppressing pro-Russian sentiment ironically drives more people to welcome Russian troops so that's not actually reducing the number of people who'd welcome the invasion.

An interesting hypothesis are the control surfaces working, but then for whatever reason either the fuses don't set off the warhead or only the smaller charge detonates.
If the warhead doesn't detonate at all, it results in the missile crashing and burning like that NLAW fired from a window, which looks like a hit.
If the front charge detonates and the rear one doesn't, the damage is only from the charge meant to set off ERA.
Failures in the actuators would just result in missiles going dumb and flying straight as the commands sent by the control unit did not have an effect on the flight surfaces.

Ahahahaha oh wow
Apparently he fell for stings in 2001 and 2009.

No. They were given the option to join the RF or return to the 1992 constitution. Which was in itself confusing because there were two constitutions written in 1992, one where Crimea is independent and the other where Crimea is part of Ukraine. Full independence would be a disaster for Crimea so the only option was joining the RF.
>Again, that is trying to have a political discussion when the matters are military in nature
Yes, but it's not coming from this side. Obviously, the DPR and LPR do matter militarily, and it's highly likely that some people west of the Donbas are feeding Russia information and that's feeding into Ukraine's paranoia. I also think you're massively overstating the protests in both their scale and effect.
>Ukraine suppressing pro-Russian sentiment ironically drives more people to welcome Russian troops so that's not actually reducing the number of people who'd welcome the invasion
I'm sure it does make more people lean Russian, but it also makes them less likely to actually do anything about it. In plenty of third-world shitholes, you have people who hate drug cartels because they're absolutely brutal assholes, but those people also won't act against the cartels because they're absolutely brutal assholes.

How have the public perception been turned?
Whenever I read the news about the war, Russia is not painted in a good light (if not outright incompetent). Outside of people on the internet, I see no support for Russia at all.
Also, may 9 is soon upon us.
I don't have any hopes for Russia to bounce back and active their objectives (Kiev was only a feint guys!)

Add pet ownership as another thing Azov is terrible at. Not a single one (if they survive lol) should ever be allowed to own an animal again on pain of death.

Yes, the war instigated by Russia killed thousands. People usually die in wars. Hell, 298 were killed in a single day by the Buk launcher numbered 322 from the 53rd anti air missile brigade stationed in Kursk and deployed to the separatist region in 2014.
You really want to push this line of reasoning?
Based on your comments it would be a waste of time to attempt a discussion of the few and narrow circumstances under which a Ukrainian president could be removed from power pre-2014, or the legal/legislative requirements for such. In short, none of them applied.
Not my problem that a faggot politician who had protesters killed pissed and shitted his pants and decided to flee the country.
Oh noes my legal/legislative process! Boo hoo. If Zelensky abandoned his duties and fled to his Florida mansion would you be here calling for proper impeachment procedures?
>Again, that is trying to have a political discussion when the matters are military in nature

I still fail to see how that negates the author's assessment. A protest doesn't have to have an effect, it's just an indication that Russian forces wouldn't be received with flowers and the Russian strategy assumed a lot more local support than they actually had.
Suppression makes people less likely to act under Ukrainian control. But upon "liberation" people who were suppressed would have the most gratitude. If for whatever reason the autodefensas rose up again and started kicking cartel ass and arresting corrupt cops, people would thank them.

Even Ukrainians getting blacked. We waz Ukrainians and shiiiiiit.
The "Kiev Madonna" from the metro has become an "icon" in the Catholic church of Naples. Services are already being held next to her. Above is a video about a 27-year-old mother, whose photo has flown all over the world.

She's meh.
But one big point in her favor is that she kept being an opposition leader rather than join the national embarassment that is Draghi 1.
A broad goverment you may call it,essentially they achieved globohomo's wildest dream and put a ghoul from the banking world in a leading position with the general applause of everyone.

It's a shame but thankfully it's already falling apart because everyone is fucking incompetent.

Also Mommy "big" meloni can capitalize on being a woman and having a broad support of right-wing patriots and dissatisfied people from every social strata.
Issue is our political system is rigged towards ungodly compromises and thats where globohomo reigns supreme.

Edit: what the fuck xenforo
Also for the doomers who believe no change can happen remember that gas can and will reach 3 euros per liter if current fuckery continues and that all costs of the pandemic are now being rendered unto the citizen with all the unpleasentness that follows suit.
