It’s really rare, and not a good sign. Also, notice that while she’s sleeping, her nasal cannula fell out of her nose and her oxygen sats are at 92 (when they were at 100). None of this is a good sign that’s for sure. Not that Kim gives a fuck.
I didn’t even catch that. As a positive her blood pressure went down though.

Kim’s only there for the asspats on FB.

Okay, I've changed the thread title.

Good call. I really don't think any individual member of this Deep South Rat King can carry a whole thread on their own, they tend to have huge gaps with no activity because they're homeless without phone service or in jail.

And I think Aidean is a far more stupid spelling than Bently, which is at least pronounced how it sounds. Could've gone with Ayden, Aydan, Aydin, Aedan, Aidyn, or Aadyn (all real apparently) or just followed the trendy white trash fad of taking any old random phoneme and using -ayden as a suffix and it wouldn't be quite as bad. I will never understand the people who know full well they are spelling their kid's name wrong but insist on keeping it "their way" just because.

Kim's mom though, holy fucking hypertension, Batman. I'm guessing that's cigarettes, meth, noncompliance with meds, and an Arkansas poverty cheese food diet catching up to her. For better or worse it's very sad that Aidean could lose his actual primary caregiver, as if the poor kid didn't have it bad enough as it is.

any other uncomfortable read recommendations, I’d be happy to hear them :)
For those who like far-out stories of rural desperation I recommend "Sarah" by JT Leroy. It's appalachian, a magical tale about a genderfluid young truckstop prostitute & his Mom. Not actually that raw or brutal despite the edgy subject matter but a genuinely good read.

I don't read a lot of fiction.

Salvation on Sand Mountain is a really good and sympathetic book about the Appalachians and the people who live in the worst parts.

American Hollow, available on Youtube, follows four generations of a family living in a Hollow in KY. Actually five generations; Their generations are really compacted.

Memoirs by kids with fucked-up, weird childhoods:
The Glass Castle (Walls)
Dancing with the Octopus (Harding)
The Pale-Faced Lie (Crow)

Super, super grim book about incest in Canadian Appalachia:
On South Mountain by David Cruise. It's about the Goler clan of Nova Scotia. Kids who had an even worse upbringing than Aidean, maybe.

Not to derail too much but this was also made into a movie called The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things, but it was not very good.
Was Kim’s mom driving when this happened? It looks to me like she was taken out of a car.

I hope she didn’t stroke out behind the wheel and hurt some innocent person.

I was wondering that too. Imagine getting taken out by a nightmare woman stroking out behind the wheel because she refuses to take the slightest bit of care of herself.

I drove past Dalton's doppelganger today, complete with vacant schizo eyes and hi-vis jacket. If I was in Arkansas I'd genuinely believe it was him. On that note, does someone with a better knowledge of this topic know how long they'll keep him in the loony bin? Is it just a case of getting him medicated asap and throwing him back in court?

For my contribution to the Sammieverse book club I recommend Child of God by Cormac McCarthy.

Sammies finally back posting. Nothing really good. Also updated this photo on one of her profiles. Where is Cameron's Easter photos? I bet she didn't even visit her kids on Easter.

This sounds good!

I’m adding these all to my list, thank you :)

I love McCarthy! Haven’t yet read this one but need to.

Does she think she’s fooling anyone with those baby pictures? I don’t imagine her visiting her real life kids either, she probably just ate her “nephew’s “ Easter candy and made cringey TikTok videos.

Any updates on Kim’s mom?

Lol I was thinking that she started posting again because she thinks everyone has goldfish memory and forgot about babby Cameron by now, so she could go back to alien kisses, gorillas and gross sex memes. Then I scrolled a little further and realized I was wrong. She's still trying to see this one through. I admire her dedication.

Lol after 2 c sections sammie magically had a 1 hr vaginal birth. The baby in the photo shes saying is 10.5lbs.

No updates on Kim's mom yet.

Anything by McCarthy I've read, I have enjoyed.
I like getting tips on good reads! It's almost like KF has a chicken-fucker guy like South Park, in the background recommending books to expand our minds literally.🤔

This thread not only offers some of the best Arkansas trash on the internet, but now also excellent reading recommendations.
What’s the best C.McCarthy book to start with for a beginner?
ETA good to see Sammie hasn’t stopped taking creeper pix of black guys (she says nephew but could be anybody) sleeping. Filthy pillows without cases= perfection.

The Road, probably. Child of God was good too though.
