The crescendo of this irony is when they try to attach Astolfo from the Fate series (the pink haired one with the singular fang) as a mascot to their movement, if they had any sense at all, they would have realized the impossibility of their quest right after accumulating the mental audacity to compare themselves to him or characters in the same vein as him: Not only does Astolfo pass flawlessly and unquestioningly to all who lay eyes upon him, but he does so effortlessly, without ever having set out to make himself more womanlike. The state of his appearance does in fact appear to be something inherent to him, which he accepts, but does not feel strongly about one way or another. He should be completely unrelatable to the trans community, to them, he's akin to someone who has had fame and fortune handed to him, yet does not desire it, not someone who shares their struggle.
Were he actually intended to represent trans people, then it comes through in a humorously rose tinted way, someone who does without care what trans people can only accomplish by heavy self deception: Were they themselves made into an anime, they would complain that it is a transphobic and hateful characterization of them.
If they were capable of rational thinking, they would make the connections, they would realize that all the anime porn they like is FICTION, that reality does not permit their porn fantasies to come true, that they will never pass in the way they truly want, but this does not dissuade them, it actually empowers them.
The troons who are powered by coom, anime and not just sheer mental illness are all aware of how fucked they are, so that's where the delusion sets in. When a masculine man compares himself to a greek god, nobody hesitates to point out how lofty that comparison is, but when a troon compares himself to an anime character, we're meant to act like it is a fair likeness.
