Mike Webberly didn’t even bother to testify in his own defence and actually asked to be voluntarily erased from the register before the tribunal took place, which is some sort of dodgy deal - much easier to reregister in another country if you haven’t actually been struck off
to put that in context a former NHS doctor in my own fam recently passed away, they’d kept up their own professional registered status despite retiring from work entirely more than 30 years ago

The sole fact that we've had this massive increase in young girls seeking treatment points to contagion theory having legs.

The sensible doctors don't have the ability to stop the crazy doctors, at least not without painting a giant target on themselves. I think that it's not overly optimistic to say that the crazy doctors are a tiny, tiny minority of the NHS with an outsize influence.

An ex-girlfriend worked in theatre at a hospital. Keeping it vague to avoid power levelling her as have no idea if she still does but she would occasionally tell me about mental surgeons and there was nothing you could do about their behaviour as anyone who blew a whistle, no matter how crazy or dangerous the behaviour, would be cold shouldered by everyone at every level and you wouldn't have a career anymore. That's how the gender mentalists are getting away with it.

Mermaids and The Good Law Project are challenging the Charity Commission's decision to grant charitable status to the LGB Alliance. First day of the court hearing today and already it's an absolute trainwreck. Akua Reindorf is making mincemeat of these fools.

Legally, this is insane: never before has one charity challenged the status of another charity in court. A first for lolsuits! They're all but guaranteed to lose, but they also have to explain themselves in court on record, which so far has been amazing.
Interestingly if they hadn't taken that bullshit court case against the LGB alliances charity status they may not have gotten that level of scrutiny from an actual reporter. They're also possibly on the hook for perjury because they repeatedly stated during the case that they don't provide medical advice.
The court case is ongoing, and I'm wondering if the Judge decides to revisit some of the evidence provided.
I think there may be a push to get rid of Green, Mermaids is a well funded charity, and there's lots of professional well connected people in the sector that will be pushing to get their snouts in the trough. As it is now in any media appearance, journalists will have to ask Green about the chest binders, and the fact that they were provided without parents consent. She's in a legal minefield, if she accuses parents of being transphobes she's opening herself and mermaids up to libel charges...
