Internet Historian Appreciation Thread - The best thing to come out of Austrailia since Mad Max (The original, obviously)

I always wondered what exactly happened there, turns out it became a complete clusterfuck and the expected climax of internet tough guy saying they'll do something legit dangerous. I wish he'd elaborated on the pornhub sponsorship, probably it will be in the follow up.

I began noticing this with the video game summary parodies maxor makes, but it feels like a lot of youtube comedy videos are becoming more and more about the comedy coming from sensory overload and rapid fire jokes. It's not the worst, but it seems every youtuber like this has been wading into this type of comedy

And, in the case of Internet Historian videos, I need to stop the video multiple times in order to appreciate all the details.

Maxor has , imo , taken the idea way too far , last video i watched from him legit gave me a headache , IH might be going that way but his stuff is nowhere near as fast paced as maxor is.

As for why its so common now , people copy what they like/is successful.

I actually think Maxor calmed that shit with Metal Gear Rising. Genshin Impact and Doom was where that hit critical levels. Metal Gear Rising was pretty much just Rising cutscenes but with abridged dialogue.
The Elden Ring video he's making though looks to be seizure inducing

Maxor is at his best when its pretty much just abridged dialogue, i hated his Project wingman review because it felt so short and unmemorable , like i can remember parts of the mgs 5 video , but none of wingman other than that i hated it

I know this was 5 months ago but fuck it. It's unlikely, as far as I heard, he stopped doing videos involving 4chan or explicitly right-wing political figures or pundits, msot likely because he was worried people were gonna associate him with those

Does anyone have a backup copy of his Storymode - Myst Expleened video?
 
Is anyone backing up his videos? Sometimes there's a mass purge and it looks like Expleened got hit this time. Parasite Eve, Resident Evil 3, Alone in the Dark 1-3, all Silent Hill games after 3, other things I can't remember. Half the videos are seemingly gone.

I had noticed those were missing and I wasn't sure why the hell it had been. I don't think they put any content in any of them that would get them flagged, was it just some content hit from a shitheel?

The loss of JED STONE is keenly felt.

In one of them they had tons of vaccine jokes and there's been a couple of lesser gamer words thrown around by IH. I just noticed it because I wanted to see the one where "Bill Gates" was trying to vaccine "Zuckerberg" throughout the video.

God damnit. I just watched that one last week and it got a legitimate chuckle out of me. I wonder if there is an archive channel lying around somewhere.
