Is a character's sexuality/gender really that important? I get you want representation, but it's amazing how much emphasis tumblrinas place on a trait that should never define anyone.

Also someone needs to explain to this artist that a character doesn't need to be ugly to look different.

Yes. These are the same people who think Dumbledore wasn't good representation because he didn't scream his exact orientation in every scene he was in and acted like a normal human being.

It bothers me a lot when people make feminine guys or masculine women out to be trans- all it says to me is that men can't be more feminine without being labeled as a girl and women can't be more masculine without having been seen as a boy (in regard to the implication they were the opposite gender before transitioning).

I never quite got that myself, it's one hell of a lot of doublethink/double standards/hypocrisy.
Encourage girls to embrace their femininity etc, then bash any cis-het girl that tries to fit feminine beauty standards because she's pandering to stereotypes..
Or point out everyone should be comfortable with who they are, but as soon as someone says they're cis-het, they must be shitlords.

I haven't played the game but from my understanding aren't Asgore and Toriel husband and wife or something? Does that make Asgore a transmysoginist because he calls himself gay but is with a transwoman?

You know what I just noticed. They say asgore is a gay man. Meaning he only like guys. Asgore is still is in love with his ex Toriel , who they are say is a trans woman.

How can that work if he is gay? Using tumble brand of logic, are they saying that trans women are not real woman?
