He says he's still in Kharkov :stress:

Why? Why? Does he actually have a death wish? Russians aren't going to stop shelling Kharkiv any time soon and if he doesn't want to fuck off somewhere safe, then he doubles or triples his chances of being disappeared.
Now that he has resurfaced, everyone will actually doubt whether something bad has happened to him. Cry "wolf!" and all that.

I'm starting to believe "Coach Red Pill" might be a dumbass.

This war has gotten boring.
Most wars are boring. People had to amuse themselves in WW2 by drawing photorealistic pictures of the Japs

He also said that he can't leave at this point even if he wanted to. After his visit to SBU, that is. He didn't outright say it, but it was kinda implied imo.

I'll also post this here, coz why not.

Cultural cross-pollination:
A Russian is teaching memes to btfo Ukrainians online and a Chinese teaches the same about Taiwanese.
We all know about piggies and Ukrainian banter and all that, but that Chinese says that they have the same banter with Taiwanese but with frogs.

I don't think they'll try to level the building. Presumably, Mariupol will be part of the DPR after the war, and the city's economy mostly revolves around steel production. Azov can't really sally forth out of the building either since the building is surrounded by ODAs.
People were saying similar about the entire war to begin with (most posts here on the farms were of the "Meh, Russia won't do it. It would make no sense, and here's a well reasoned and logical explanation of why" variety, to which Russia replied "Hold my beer").

Never underestimate Russia's ability to follow a completely different logic train than you expect them to or is rational to you.

Another fun fact for you: nobody votes themselves into being at the receiving end of an invasion by a superior foe.
On one hand you implied (If I understood your reference to some random kiwi correctly) that Ukraine was suppressing the Russians and their cultural identity, and on the other you write that Ukraine didn't do nothing, so which one is it?
This is quite easy to understand once you unwrap your brain from the mindfuck that is us propaganda.

The US supported a minority faction that wanted a full break and hostile relationship from Russia’s sphere of influence. They were democratically unsuccessful so the US organized and financially supported a revolution to overthrow the democratically elected government, who have have since systematically oppressed and minimized their opposition so as to remain politically uncontested, despite, at least in 2019, running on a platform of negotiating an end to the hostilities with the separatists.

It's amazing that there are people out there who actually believe that a nation's Chief Executive deciding that a mediocre trade deal isn't in his nation's long-term best interests - particularly when it comes with the added provision that they drop their largest trading pratner - would cause the average citizen of said nation so much anger so as to support a violent coup.

I suspect some of you are old enough to have sort of known what was going on about the time NAFTA was enacted... Or, perhaps, the granting of most-favored-nation trade status to China; each of those were bigger net negatives for these United States than the mediocre EU-Ukraine trade deal we're told was the reason Yanukovych was overthrown in 2014, and yet I don't personally recall anyone being so bent out of shape over them that they ever suggested doing violence to force Bill Clinton from office - or, for that matter, believing such a thing would even be possible along the same lines as the Western-backed coup that resulted in Elbonia's current illegitimate government.

And yet there are some people commenting here who want you to believe that it was all a grass-roots effort by ordinariy Ukroswine because the hope and dream of being an EU province was their sole reason for existing.

That hardly singles out Russia though. "Men and nations behave wisely when they have exhausted all other resources.”

(No, it wasn't Churchill.)

Thoughts on Patrick Lancaster?
I've started watching his recent stuff after not really paying any attention to him since the beginning of the invasion.
Is he:
a) autistic,
b) traumatised by the war,
c) Russian shill,
d) honest journalist with skin in the game?
Some of his content is just really retarded, like when he screams at the camera as a tank manoeuvres behind him. Or, in this video (7:35), for instance: you see Chechens shooting their AKs at pretty much nothing in particular, but he tries to make it sound exciting. Same in the following video (1:53).

Also, this old Russian soldier (why does he wear the mask?) seems to be his handler/tour guide and is in every video.

The issue is that relatively small protests were met with violence and laws restriction freedom of assembly and speech. This lead to larger protests.
People didn't get bent out of shape due to the trade deal, they got bent out of shape over how Yanukovych reacted to the protests.
They supposedly found American military docs at an Azov base
>"SEKRIT US DOCUMENTS FOUND"
>FM 90-8 Counter Guerrilla Operations
>FM 4-0 Sustainment Operations

I hate these people.

Around that time was when Waco happened, the US was very close to a civil war before 9/11 conveniently happened and everyone got caught up in the patriotism/ war fervor.
