Nijisanji have announced the next THREE 3D debuts.


4/30 - Nagao Kei
5/6 - Kaida Haru
5/13 - Genzuki Tojiro

Kaida Haru has previously been seen in 3D due to his involvement with ROF-MAO, but it seemed appropriate to announce all of VALZ together.


On top of that, there was an interview with one of Nijisanji's 3D tech engineers released yesterday. Most of it is, naturally, tech stuff, but there is a part near the end where the interviewee noted that their next challenge was to 'simulate walking on four legs', which likely means that they're ready to tackle Kuroi Shiba's overdue 3D debut sometime soon.

Pomu has also recently been talking about suddenly taking dance lessons, which she says is for her VRChat streams (which is probably true), but if you take a quick look at the current NIJISANJI 100k milestone chronology, there are only 7 more members between Genzuki and LazuLight — one of whom has already got a 3D model, so technically six. This is to say that, with Japan opening up, it is logistically possible (not probable) that NijiEN can receive 3D debuts later this year.

Oh, I missed she was going to play Obra Dinn, this clip saved me a couple of hours of time.
I love this game so much and have watched a couple of streamers playing through it, but watching someone who has already finished it playing through it for the second time feels just wrong.
The game is brilliant and I recommend it to everyone here, but there's no way to replay it with the same gusto after the first clear.

FWIW I joined in the middle and had absolutely no idea that it wasn't Kronii's first run. In hindsight, some of her hangups (e.g. not realising that you have to name a specific person in the firing squad) were unusually dense and I'm now wondering if she was playing it up.

Has everyone actually forgot that she knows absolute sweet fuck about how a gun even works... Rest assured it would never happen, It would probably would have taken her 30 mins to begin to even load one let alone use it.

Really blows my mind how some people are so unknown to these sort of things, compared to I'm pretty sure everyone here knows how one works to some degree.

Is it me or is IRyS' role as 'V-Singer' just totally redundant now? It's like a carryover of a JP branch idea that was already well on its way out and it kind of results in her getting othered because she has no formal Gen to call her own. Even AZKi can now be in Gen 0 with her peers but EN has no such members.

Even in terms of music production, her OG songs haven't really broken away from the mold, and relative to her peers actually don't perform as well (HERE COMES HOPE is her best-performing song with 886K in 6 months). Her most popular song is a cover of Suisei's original song, and her 3rd most popular is a cover of Towa's.

Kronii's original song has performed better. Calli is better known for her music production. Even hopping across the pond, Enna's original song performed better than all but one and that was released before she broke 100K subs, Finana's 'TSUNAMI' sits at 1.6m, and Millie's covers perform better overall.

In my opinion, IRyS should have been in Council with a more normal design. The lack of expectation that she would be 'the singer' would have paradoxically made her singing voice much more impactful on the audience.

They released EN branch vsinger, who had a bunch of japanese songs and covers when she debuted, with physical sales in korean music shops, who doesnt do karaoke too often for "vsinger" and then they are japanese songs or unarchived as well, with design that only looks good on a cover of the album and sucks as actual model. Whoever suggested brilliant idea of doing things this way follows the legacy of INNK Music to a degree that even they themselves would be unable to. For the record, Suisei pushed as hard as she could to get out of there, AZKi was planning to wait until contract runs out and quit, and the guy running it before closure resigned citing "inadequate support and inability to recognize approproate direction" completely taking the blame all on himself. Everything they could've done wrong to make sure she sinks, they did. It's kind of a miracle she actually got her own audience and fairly successfull even relative to EN1

She really should get an English songwriter. It's been brought up before in this thread that a lot of her original material is written in Japanese and her English songs often have an uncanny meter and/or lack of rhyme that is very similar to a lot of English-translated anime songs.
