Do you have any proof or evidence aside from age cause if this is him then that would be rather odd considering this actor has a very long history of being unproblematic and wholesome and is known for being a family man (I don't think he's ever not mentioned his wife and kids in an interview). Hell, years ago he and his wife custom built their dream home with him doing a chunk of it himself (they moved to a different Toronto house now that the kids are grown and left). I honestly don't see him being the kind to drop all that work and love on a whim. Could be wrong of course as anyone can jump off the deep end but it would probably shock a good chunk of Canadians if he were to even hint at a divorce.
Also to say that he's in the province beside Newfoundland is rather wrong. He lives in Toronto and has for decades and even if he had stayed in Montreal, to say Montreal Quebec is anywhere near a neighbour of Newfoundland is very, very wrong.

The drive is less terrible than this picture indicates as there is a one/two day ferry you can take off Newfoundland as opposed to being forced through Labrador's shitty reservation roads (labrador is the one actually connected to Quebec but it's pretty much just reservations and moose) but you better be prepared for a whole road trip or shilling out way too much money for a domestic flight in this massive country.
Also Yanick lives in Toronto with his wife and is contractually there a huge chunk of the year filming Murdoch Mysteries (called the artful detective or some shit in America), he likely couldn't casually fly back and forth from NL while filming and probably couldn't afford it on a Canadian tv salary either (he's done interviews in the past admitting to doing construction on the side to pay for his kids despite having the starring role on the show). I just don't think Yanick fits the bill even remotely personally, from both a personality perspective and a logistical one
