A young, sad Puppychan is in the early stages of terminally online syndrome and vents her true and honest suicidal ideations. Her followers, who are the kind of people who take these kind of things seriously, reach out to keep her safe and unharmed. During some of these incidents the police are actually called, according to Puppy from around this time. Now Puppy, having got her first hit of what is colloquially know as "asspats", really enjoyed all the sweet words and encouragements to stay strong from her followers, so she continued to reach out to them whenever she was hurting. Overtime, as her case of terminally online syndrome grew to its later stages, the high she got from the nice words on her screen stopped hitting as good. She needed to take more frequent hits. She pretended to be suicidal multiple times a day, multiple times a week. This increase in frequency drove away most people, so the amount of asspats she was getting per threat went down. Recognizing this, Puppychan stopped just "wanting to die"; now she needed to mutilate herself because voices were telling her she was the reincarnation of Judas. Plus, people were nicer to her when she was suicidal, so whenever somebody was even slightly critical of her or her art, she retreated to the safety and comfort of being told not to kill herself.
