Anyways, the whole v-title revision and debuting with Council will only work if she doesn't get any funding whatsoever to sing in a whole ass EP right off the bat but it seems to me Cover has always planned that from the very beginning. As far as I can see, the most funding each talent gets would only be enough to produce 1 song but due to that special treatment, it was best to just launch her as is. Hololive usually promotes and move their talents in units/gens. She pretty much got the funding for a whole gen from the looks of it and all it took was for her to loose her control over what she can sing for her first EP with Cover. Calli was the only exception because she did everything by herself which cut down the cost significantly for her. It's all about money and control at the end of the day.

I wonder if they should hold EN to this standard though. In Niji atleast the EN branch grows much quicker than the main JP+ID+KR one. And I'm sure any new debuts will also reach that number extremely quickly. Wouldn't that cause friction when the ENs blitz through 3D debuts while some JPs wait for a long time?

People here have a weird concept of Vsingers , in Holo it only means that cover foot the bill for all the talent songs and PV while the others have to pay for it (like Marine MV), Calli is the only exception because she mostly do all her stuff herself so is technically more cheaper for her

AZKi was a anomaly that got corrected because INNK was a partnership but because the other partner is irrelevant now (upd8 i think it was) Cover decide to transfer AZKi to take her place as Gen 0

I can do a totally unbiased evaluation of every niji and holo member from EN, from a perspective of absolute newcomer and not someone who was reading the site since Digibro went full mental openly talking about impregnating lolis, was lurking this thread almost since holoEN debut but never bothered to make an account, and absolutely wasnt banned from all holo-related discord servers after saying that just because Calli works a lot and has days she isnt drinking, doesn't mean she isn't an alcoholic, it just means she didn't reach the absolute bottom yet. Or that Kiara and Coco are both generic ethots who are more than eager to splurge out tits and ass on camera instead of being entertaining and having great personality, and latter were only true because Cover wasn't allowing them to do it, so they had to come up with something. But that would be increadibly boring and beaten to death. At least this is a new topic

Every Hololive talent can request funding from Cover to produce their Original Songs regardless if they are a Vsinger. Moona has discussed this before. They get a set amount they can spend. Anything beyond that they will have to shell out money already. So if you want a fancy MV like Marine. You have to pay up. What really separates the Vsinger title beyond the full funding for their original songs is the control. Calli will probably never get to produce the music that she likes if she debuted as a Vsinger for one because it will be all up to who Cover wants to produce her music. It's not the same for covers though. That they all have to pay. I think Cover paid the first 4 covers that Irys did that were all Hololive songs. Right now though, IRyS has paid her own money when she made the cover for Identity and she will be spending money to make her next cover. What I only know is that eventually Azki was able to write her own lyrics for her song the Last Frontier but most of her old songs were decided by her producer.

I would not blame her for wanting to foot the bill for new songs because let's be real her debut song were so cringe that she doesn't even like to sing them anymore

I mean Fushimi Gaku is one of the OGs and he only just got 3D. Meanwhile, the fastest members to reach 100K actually belong to Eden-gumi (Leos Vincent and Lain Paterson) so it would be strange to start splitting hairs with EN and giving them poorer treatment, because then people have to start arguing that modern JP members need a higher threshold to receive company-mandated milestone rewards and it just becomes a mess.

Maybe they should make more of an effort with EN and gain traction from the western audience like their competitors did, if it concerns them so much.

She doesn't sing them because they are difficult to sing. The only person I see singing her songs during karaokes is Moona. Suisei tried to sing Here Comes Hope but it was a struggle for her surprisingly. She has stated before that she does want to sing all of her songs in a 3D concert. I like her first EP more than the second one. Regarding funding her own original songs, I would like that but I have a feeling they will most likely be 70% Japanese because that girl is quite Japanese at heart at this point. I won't be complaining. My favorite song in her Journey EP was the all Japanese ballad - Flower of Hope.
