The first time I saw it blow up was last year, when 2 presenters at Microsoft's Ignite conference did it. They also did a land acknowledgement, where they acknowledged that MS's HQ is built on indigenous people's land. It got mocked a lot on Twitter and YouTube.

I've been lurking and reading for about a year, and just made an account because this person is one of my personal lolcows and I've followed them and their close periphery of friends for a while out of sheer morbid curiosity.
She owns a house in Maryland with her ex - who had a full psychotic break and took off to live in the swamps of Louisiana in a tent. Her ex (CandidlyVal on Twitter) was a very successful MtF only fans person, but yeah - had a full psychotic break that played out almost in full over Twitter. Moss here uses Fae pronouns and has no nipples (although I've come to learn that's not necessarily unique. . . ) - they may or may not be worth a deeper dive than this; honestly I find them and their life super sad -albeit fascinating- more than funny. But yeah, definitely a cautionary tale of the Trans Cult.
ETA: The ex, CandidlyVal had a whole pedo arc before his psychotic break. Someone from a private discord leaked convos of him talking about abusing kids. When confronted, he and his close circle all just said it was purely hypothetical roleplay (yeah) and that he was going to seek therapy. This was a year or two ago. (Second edit: I realized I should have said that CandidlyVal used to be SpaceValien and AfterDarkVal before rebranding to avoid the pedo accusations. Moss here defended Val endlessly as this went on.)

And the icing on the cake is that it is being compared to the Rotherham grooming gangs scandal.
For the non-dentally challenged amongst you this relates to when Muslim men, 40 or 50 at a time, were raping troubled under aged girls in many Northern cities.
When this was first raised anybody highlighting it was immediately called a racist and it was swept under the carpet allowing it to continue - basically with the blessing of the Police and Social Services - for many years. There have now been countless prosecutions and everyone's still a little shit scared to mention it.
The fact that politicians are now straight out saying that we mustn't ignore this lunacy because of SJW pressure is quite wonderful.
No idea where it'll go but it's still great to hear sane voices.
