Call a nigga late to the punch (Though I feel I'm not obscenely late to comment on it, people are still talking about it). But I got round to listening to the 'debate' between Nick and Metokur. And while I'm personally not that invested in this whole drama, it seemed like good background noise and I tried to actually listen to Nick's points because a bunch of people seem to acknowledge that he's a good debater.
Also, to the people who support Nick to this day, what exactly do you get from it? I am genuinely curious.
The issue is that he had no points. He never made a single poignant comment, his entire shtick is talking over the other person and acting like a 5 year old with terribly unfunny comebacks, he looked like a doofus the entire time. The two talked over each other nonstop and the whole thing was predictably a shitshow. He handled himself better than Ralph did, at least he didn't scream and cry and break down on stream I guess... But that's such a miserably low bar that it isn't even worth mentioning.
The only thing he had to do was elaborate on the flagging shit and give a solid reason for why it was legit.
And when he was pressed on the DMCA abuse (the main reason the actual stream was set up) his only response was "It's funny" and that "people think it's an unspoken rule to not do it". He already said this on his own show. The issue is that EVERYONE sees past this, and his hypocrisy gleams through the most during his whole bit about how he thinks criminals are based but not when they do shit that hurts him and his people. It's either that he's 100% convinced he is in the right or he simply lacks the self awareness to see how much of a little bitch that stance makes him.
And if the former is true, it proves he has no morals or any real principles outside of do the opposite of the jews or whatever the fuck. He's a joke and he can't see past his own arrogance to realize his own hypocrisy.
And if the latter is the case, then Jim wins by default because yes, his 'career' is laughing about retards. And there's enough skeletons in these people's closets to fill a graveyard.
And that's not even touching on the 'low brow' shit he tried to pull in the debate (despite his bitching about Jim's own 'low brow' humor), from joking about Jim's canceraids as if that would phase him to generally being a smug, insufferable faggot and bringing on the likes of Gunt and Baked to flail around in his defense.
What transpired was 2 hours of him sucking his own dick in front of a live audience, and for someone who says 'cringe' a lot, he sure likes to come across as an intolerable retard. The whole parroting the Joker thing is Reddit tier and he says it without a shred of irony.
I think honestly Nick enjoyed the limelight a little too much several years back, he got predictably deplatformed and now is struggling for relevance on his own platform. And he parrots Ralph's behaviour in checking his own thread to see what people say about him on a platform he has no control over, for someone with thin skin who can't handle the criticism or banter, it's simply not good for his mental health and he could benefit from getting off the internet and walking away a little from this shit... Because in the end of the day it's internet drama, we document and laugh at it, we enjoy the shitflinging but people will eventually move on. I hope for his sake he does too and focuses on improving his own situation within the confines he has left, because he seemed to be popular at one point, he boasts he has built a free speech platform and good for him.
But when two canadian retards who makes streams covering retarded internet shit get more viewers than his entire platform combined, there's a problem... The problem however isn't with relevancy, people clearly are invested enough to talk about it. No, he has a problem with people just speculating about him in a way he cannot control and he generally comes across as unlikable and frankly kind of retarded on the stream. So for all the bluster about the 'ess jay wubblews' not being able to handle a bit of banter or whatever the fuck, he certainly can't take a joke, he can't handle the banter thrown to him and he cannot hold himself reliably under any serious scrutiny from people who see past the childish edgyness of his content. That is the reason he clings on to retards like Ralph and Baked who also have trouble with handling public scrutiny. They all circlejerk so much that they convince themselves that they are the only people on the internet who are correct. So they naturally gravitate towards creating a hugbox for lack of better term.

1. Even if you like Nick, how is saying 'I am Hitler 2, 3, and 4.' Something you ever want to say if you are serious political figure?
2. 'I wouldn't believe my own sister if she said she was raped' might be one of the single most un-optical things ever uttered by someone in American politics. That statement alone is enough to sink an entire movement. I am still in disbelief that Nick said it.
3. 'All women are pedophiles.' This statement was so strange and out of left field. Jim didn't hit on this and he should have because it is so bizarre and un-optical. I actually agree with some of the other posters here that maybe this means he was abused by a woman as a child or something. I have never heard any person make this claim, and it is so strange, that child abuse by a woman might also explain his weird statements about them being gross, and acting like a faggot.
4. 'If Baked goes to jail on a bad plea deal I will have him killed in prison.' This is one of the worst possible things anyone could ever say when both parties in question are under direct FBI investigation. Nick better hope no one shows that to the FBI.
Was actually quite a boring showing, Nick has completely lost his old debate skills and his ability to be articulate, Jim missed easy opportunities but it didn't matter as Nick further embarrassed himself with every utterance. I agree entirely. I've heard some very fucked up things in my time, but never "all women are peophiles". You almost never hear those mentioned in the same sentence, even from people who call them dog-fuckers. He honestly probably was molested, more likely than not.
