What if you use them as an example of faggotry? The french are known worldwide for their faggotry. Using them as an example of anything is an instant L.
Its still an L becuase they aren't the biggest faggots on the planet. That honor currently goes to the Swedish. What if you use them as an example of faggotry?
That wouldn't have shut her up. She would have (had ghost)written a book about how "Trump betrayed MAGA: From the Insider that KNOWS" or something similar. She was always a scorpion, and her job has always been to derail people like Trump and waste the energy of his base.I only wish that Trump gave her that damn position like the other "winners" just to shut her up, because Christ. She's worse than Never Trumpers et al.
I always figured it would be 8 years of Biden, 8 years of Harris, then 8 years of Hunter. It looks like my calculations were off though.Still can't quite wrap my head around the whole "10 years of YASSS KWEEN" thing, considering how unfathomably unlikeable and extraordinarily useless our Deputy Dicksucker-in-Chief is. Unless it's gonna be one of those things where she plays literal meat puppet to the neolibs pushing us further towards the "You'll own nothing and you'll be happy" future they always coom over.

While the shitposting is funny, being off social media is better for the man. I say this on the principle that being off social media is better for everyone, and the sooner the world realises that, the better. So uh.
Twitter's apparently going to allow Elon Musk to buy it.
... Hey @Gehenna, others: How's the Midterm / 2024 Calculus change if suddenly Trump is allowed back on Social Media?
It would be a massive mistake for Trump to go back, Twitter is irrelevant garbage and the last thing Trump needs to be is a Twitter Addict.others: How's the Midterm / 2024 Calculus change if suddenly Trump is allowed back on Social Media?
Won't do a ton for the midterms, I don't think. When Independents are breaking against Biden almost to the same degree as Republicans, mean tweets aren't going to put too much of a dent in the anti-Democrat sentiment created by all the real world problems. So uh.
Twitter's apparently going to allow Elon Musk to buy it.

It’s like comparing Brazil to Saudi Arabia it doesn’t add up.God, the bullshit cope is palpable.
France has a completely different electoral system than the U.S. and a very different geographic breakdown. Comparing the entire US to France elections is completely disengenuous because the electoral college exists. You can probably compare France to New York state, with one huge city, smaller cities and hollowed out rural population, aka a sucker for left wing candidates to win with little resistance. Each state is very different to that, which matters because the electoral college exists.
And that's without going into the candidates. Le Pen never got within 10 points of winning the popular vote, even with this extremely more favorable environment to her than her other 3 runs. On the other side, Trump won "once" by a slim margin the first time, "lost" by 40000 votes across 3 states in one of the worst political incumbant environments in American history, with megacorporation billionaires, the entire media, and at least 50% of his own party against him, and still had the national popular vote within 5. And that was with Biden having a overall positive approval due to constant hiding and corporate media fellatio.
Now, Biden is less popular than Trump at the during their respective presidencies timeframes WITH these advantages and Trump's approval has hit an all time high today with constant media hitpeices to this day. Trump is now the most popular national politician in the country.
It isn't anywhere near the same.
Is it wrong to think that Le Pen plays a role to lose?Ding ding ding.
I think a lot of people think of controlled opposition as a narrower term than it is. They hear it and think "uniparty", or more longform they think "One side actively working with the other". And while this is a form of controlled opposition it is not the only form. Generally you have two other forms. The useful idiot as you mention here who likes to espouse nice things but who have no hope in hell of actually winning and then you have the class that LePen falls under and the largest group.
LePen has no business being the front runner of French politics if you look at it on the face. She has run four times now and lost all of them receiving only a small amount of support. She has an absolute shit-ton of baggage both personally and historically. And her policies always lack any form of details and are vague messes. How has no other party or candidate come out and ousted her? And well, we have evidence it'd be possible. Zemmour came out late in the race and managed to snag fourth place in the first round of voting despite massive handicaps.
LePen should not be the one against Macron, yet consistently is. The answer why lies in that third type. "Propped up politics", LePen is the case example of it. You take someone theoretically viable if they had resources, prop them up politically with money on the side to get people behind them, then drop that support come the key election (General in the U.S., second round in France) so suddenly everything which kept them afloat is gone.
Its what Clinton tried to do with Trump only for it to backfire.
*BONK*Is it wrong to think that Le Pen plays a role to lose?
Her legs are divine.
Maybe she likes losing.LePen has no business being the front runner of French politics if you look at it on the face. She is French, after all.Maybe she likes losing.

True French NationalismShe is French, after all.
There’s no hard evidence of it.I thought the Walt Disney anti-semitism thing was an unsubstantiated rumor.
And now I am of the belief that both sides have gone off the deep end.
This is what the MAGA crowd actually believes.
Except they have. Repeatedly. Every chance they get. And continue to do so. When they aren’t dodging the questions. The 2020 steal might be one of the biggest phyrrhic victories in the history of American politics. I can't imagine anybody who has done more damage to the electability of the Democratic Party than Joe Biden. The Dems can't successfully blame the Republicans for all the hardships the country is going through because they have the White House and both chambers of Congress. Since Biden took office gases prices have skyrocketed, inflation is wiping out peoples' saving, illegal immigration is about to hit levels once thought inconceivable, and the administration has thrown their lot in with child groomers in a war against parents for who should have control over their kids. I doesn't help that Biden looks like he's going to put his other foot in the grave pretty soon. His replacement in Harris is just as inept and unlikable as Joe, but without the excuse of having her brain liquefying in real time. If Trump won in 2020, they could safely shriek about how he is Hitler 2.0 and is mere moments away from turning the United States in to a smoldering ash heap. Instead, Biden was installed and they revealed their true colors on various policies to a lot of people. The direct result of those polices is that the life of the average American is demonstrably worse now than it was under Trump, and people are going to hammer them for it come November.
That’s only an issue if one sees it as an issue. The Democrats are actively humming along and are perfectly fine with how things are doing because to them they have all the support they need and all they gotta do is purge the evil ones.Nobody with any serious look thought the Afghan situation wold bring it all down. What it, and every other major crisis, has done is incrementally but significantly damaged both the administration and the Democrats in general.
