i think it's from her b/c the last time we spoke she mentioned the story of Solomon Linda and the Evening Birds and how this song was ripped off from a Zulu Tribe

My gut reaction was that IF it is from Ute that maybe this was an admittedly odd attempt at a peace offering? Bringing up something they talked about once and we’re both passionate about in an attempt to AT LEAST get Karen to not hate her guts anymore and remember that she’s a human too, even though they don’t get along?

It’s understandable that Ute would have abandonment issues after her husband trooning out, and might genuinely want closure from Karen.

Meanwhile Karen is hell bent on talking shit, and presents everything Ute does to her audience as CRAZY AND UNHINGED STALKER BEHAVIOR instead of an older lady who’s a little eccentric but whose feelings have actually been hurt.

Which would honestly be kinda darkly funny. Ute sending the letter like “this will warm Karen’s cold heart for sure” and using the return address trick so as not to pay postage (which is weird in a quaint way.) And then Karen receives these odd but benign notes and is like “THAT MOTHER FUCKING CUNT BITCH”

One of the most patriarchal religions in the world is Orthodox Judaism. Why would anyone consider themselves a feminist if they believed in Orthodoxy Dogma? Last I heard, secular Israelis must marry in Cyprus, or their marriages will be invalidated. Isn't it true that Karen and Sierra hang out with well-known anti-semantics (febs) whom they defend? I recall seeing a Hitler fan photo. Does any of this bother them? The level of hypocrisy and double standards has reached an all-time high.

Orthodox rabbis are the only ones who can officiate Jewish marriages in Israel, but they do perform them for secular Jewish couples. They just require them to do the proper ceremonies.

But yeah, often they go abroad to dodge all the ceremonial stuff.

Sorta. Sierra knew about all the shitty stuff going on against Ute and really only came out with it when she had that lover's quarrel with Joey.

It's good she finally said something, and Karen and Joey are total shitheads, but Exulansic finally doing the right thing was more in her self interest than genuine altruism.
