I think a lot of people are missing what could change and think that the only possibility that anyone's talking about is saying nigger/faggot/tranny.
The reality is that Twitter is extremely common among adults now. 23% of adults use it as of latest polling. Of those, the top 2% of Tweeters, do 98% of the Tweeting. Those are where all the big info campaigns come from. I can't remember the exact numbers, but they did a study showing that scientific articles first released on Twitter for support were much more likely to get into scientific journals.
Simply allowing there to be backlash, which there really, really isn't right now is enough to alter this path.
He also wants to make things open source, which if we can see how and why things make it into trending, it's far easier to trust than the fucking OBVIOUS manipulations they've been doing daily for years. As it stands, it's one giant, far left astroturfing business. Small changes, like not censoring people for calling a dude a dude, will send waves through it.
Don't just assume everyone's banned for the nigger word. You can be banned for almost nothing, and tons of people are.
