I think you might have missed something in Uncle Ted's work. The problem isn't solved by voting for one party or the other. Ted is very clear that the issue is the entire system and we cannot recover from this at all without dismantling it. Leftism is a symptom of the technological society we live in, not the cause of it.
From Doctor K's perspective, anyhow. There is a lot of common ground between he and I ideologically, but I am fundamentally a Christian theonomist, while he is agnostic, and theological/spiritual argument is outside of the scope of his work. We had a functioning Christian culture for most of the last two millennia. It doesn't occur to Dr. K that return to our theological/spiritual heritage might work. He presuppositionally rejects it.

When I say "shift back to the right" I mean something like "return to Biblical ethics", or a parallel to the geopolitical shift away from the Weimar-style policies of the early 1920s.

Where can I read more about leftism being caused by technology. That sounds like a good ol fireside story.!
