Unless everyone here plans on collectively gaslighting me, I personally checked the link and the comment was there, and I'm sure others checked it too before the page was nuked.

I had a chance to look at it and it had the comment. She also posted a pic of her other daughter + bf which had a similar comment posted on the same day.

*This just in: If you archive something on archive.ph it removes the comments. Who knew? That takes care of that discrepancy.

I don't get how archive.ph works with instagram. There are definitely archives with comments out there (example) but the comment in this case is years old. The second comment (64 weeks old) was not archived, it's really weird.
But no hard feelings @Scuttle it caught my eye and I had to point it out. Wasn't it you who once said that one should not believe everything and and question it critically ?

I mean, it TECHNICALLY was/is. You honestly can't expect others in a person's family to completely shift their life/habits because someone becomes a vtuber. For example Karen not once stated anything about her mother, by name, or links even (that Ive seen) as either DD or Mori, so people finding this are doing so because they don't respect privacy. Doxxing etc happens but the most that normally changes is if they're at home streaming they tend to teach family (usually) how to be quiet/try not to interrupt as best as they can. Sadly it's harder for people to find you if you lock everything down, this is mostly truer for older family since if they can't browse pictures/posts they have to risk messaging a potential scam account.

The average person isn't going to understand the tenacity and doggedness of internet spergs trying to find every crumb of information they can about a family member. It takes some really careful and serious explanation of how it works. And some people just simply will NEVER understand. The sad reality of trying to be a celebrity with boomer parents.

I've heard that there is this thing called psychologist. And if you have some mental problems and cash to spare they can help you with that. Sure, first couple months before your holo income starts rolling in is mind wrecking and you can't really do anything about it. But if you keep ignoring all of it and just drink yourself to sleep or ignore all together a year after that's on you. Even Kiara who was always considered as the first to graduate due to being mentally unstable time bomb figured this out and is getting her shit together. Not months if not years of hard effort with actual professional to work out all the fuckups in your head. Back to topic, how high is the chance that this guy got into Calli's mother account to leave this comment, then made all the new accounts everywhere just to spread it out and start some shitflinging? It's not horribly hard if you are committed to even make a fake SIM-card to get around 2fa, and her mother isn't exactly tech wizard to even have good password in place to begin with. I've seen people with good internet security getting fucked over by this because all it takes is one guy at reception who gets a call to not give enough fucks to verify it, and you have no control over it

From where is this screenshot, /vt? The archive is from today but there is no weeks old post about this being her boyfriend. I doubt instagram only shows comments if you are logged in so the comment seems to be doctored.

Edit: It was confirmed several times, no hard feelings. archive.ph works strangely with instagram. Very old comments (years old) are archived newer ones (like obviously this one) are not.
