In other news, Russia is now threatening to nuke the UK over their sending weapons to Ukraine. Part of me thinks it's saber rattling, but still unsettling nonetheless:

Earlier today the UK said Ukraine hitting targets in Russia's mainland is "perfectly justified" because they aim for "valild military targets". Russia replied that by that logic the UK should be fine with Russia hitting weapon convoys heading to Ukraine via the terriory of EU countries because hey, valid military targets, amirite?

Russia was kicked out of the world ranking of the length of dicks.

Ohh boo fucking hoo. Russia don't want to ge shelled by those mean evil ukrainen? How dare they attack our bases back in the mother land?

What's jive? Or who?
Fun fact: Ukrainian is more similar to Polish than Russian, at least with the pronunciation.

You can clearly spot it in the almighty Angry Ukrainian kid meme video. The announcer is speaking Ukrainian, while Sasha and his mom Russian.

This is hard for boomer/zoomers fed a steady diet of "Russian Commies coming for you" their entire lives to understand. And they won't.
Zoomers had a steady diet of being chastized for playing videogames that always having Russians and Arabs as bad guys.
Going "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND BRO YOU HAD TO BE THERE BRO" doesn't cut it. You can have nostalgia for something while understanding why others don't want it on their land.
Like if Cuba had statues to the Americans that occupied it twice could you imagine Americans seething at Che and Castro pulling those statues down?
when major powers agree on a Nazi land grab, it's good. When the Soviets do it, it's evil.
It was evil when both did it, just because major powers turned a blind eye to one doesn't mean we give the other a pass.

Even more unsettling when you realize that the Russians are likely to fuck something up out of sheer stupidity, and nuking God knows what place. Maybe even themselves!
Nevertheless it could be North Korea style saber rattling, as NATO would retaliate. And of course, the oligarchs want to return to their mansions and yachts in the west some day. And even back home, they don't want to hang out in their dachas without fearing radiation. Unless Putin Huylo has become Biden on cocaine, dementia wise.

An insight into the mind of a Reddit Legion member. A former ZOGbot fighting in Ukraine to defend Israel.

>But King’s motivation for wanting to help Ukrainians went beyond humanitarianism. He’s convinced that Putin’s invasion marks the beginning of a greater global plot by Russia, Iran and Turkey to overrun Israel. This scheme was foreshadowed in the Bible, he claims: a passage in Ezekiel 38 portends an epic conflict sparked by a man called Gog (Vladimir Putin, in King’s reading) from a land called Magog (Russia) which will mark the end of days.
>By the time he came back from Afghanistan, King says he was at “the point of suicidal depression”.
>King surrounded himself with a “high-speed team” to “go in slick, hit supply lines, blow up bridges”.
>Not long after they left, the barracks at Yavoriv were pulverised by cruise missiles, resulting in dozens of casualties.
>Then the Ukrainians started handing them bloodied suits of body armour. “And it was like, wait a minute, where are the guys who were once wearing this? Are they still out there, injured?”
>The foreigners were informed that they were to head to a village north of Kyiv that had recently been overtaken by Russian forces. Their task was to retake it. A Ukrainian commander took out his smartphone and scrolled to the location on a map.
>“You don’t just show a picture on your cell phone of a village the Russians had captured and tell 20 guys to go take it,” King says. At that point he got a taxi to Lviv in western Ukraine.
>He had no money and was looking to set up a GoFundMe page to raise the funds for a plane ticket home. I asked him if he was worried about what to do next. No, he said. His life had become a series of meanderings and retreats and fumbled adventures, and his trip to Ukraine had turned out to be no different.

A question for the Russia supporters in this thread:
How justified do you feel Russia is in waging this war against Ukraine? Absolutely justified? Somewhat justified? Not at all, but you don't like Ukraine and the state of the West so you're cheering Russia on anyway? I'd also appreciate it if you would explain why you feel so.
First you should know that this is a loaded question on many levels. One, there aren’t really any Russia supporters outside of Russia (and the Russian posters here exhibit some of most level-headed responses). The opposite of hatred isn’t love, it’s indifference. The left confuses this on almost every topic they are told to care about; that because somebody doesn’t share the burning, putrid, unbridled hatred they have on any given topic that their opponents must have some kind of opposing idealization of their target. Rarely, if ever is that the case. Most normal people (non-leftist) simply inhabit a world of understanding our opposing differences and mutual objectives (realism).

Second is that Russia isn’t simply waging war against Ukraine. A minority faction that was democratically unsuccessful overthrew the elected government and preceded a hostile break with Russia which necessarily involved oppressing and discriminating against the pro-Russia population that enjoyed a slight majority in the elections and waging a brutal war against separatist regions and refusing any and all negotiations with a people that are refusing to become this new notion of “Ukrainian”. At some point Ukraine should have looked at the scenario realistically and made territorially concessions in order to obtain peace while maintaining 90% of their 2013 borders. But every official in Ukraine that attempts a negotiated peace suddenly finds themselves targets of a “corruption sweep” and risks imprisonment and confiscation of their wealth, while politicians that support war have holdings of hundreds of millions of dollars in overseas accounts.

So I would turn the question around, why do Ukraine supporters continue to support this war against Russia to the last Ukrainian? Already this policy has resulted in the destruction of Ukraine, perhaps irreversibly destroyed its future demographics and identity as young Ukrainian women and children flee the country, and the economy will be in shambles for decades. Every day that the war continues a negotiation will necessitate more territorial concessions. There is nothing that Ukraine and the average Ukrainian will gain by continuing the war. Their politicians will retire in Miami villas, but the population will remain broken and defeated.

With the slight difference that russia is at war with ucraine, a war that they started, while the west is not at war with them.
They really understood their audience to put out such retarded statements
