Caught up on the last number of pages quickly. I feel like being big into the Japanese seiyuu scene made me unable to care about all the drama that swirls around these girls sometimes. Someone has a boyfriend? Good for them, hope they're happy in their offtime. Two of my favorite seiyuu, Kenichi Suzumura and Sakamoto Maaya, have been together for years, pair together in numerous anime together, and just announced having their first child. Thrilled for them. Granted, this is a Western viewpoint, I know it can be just as bad for regular seiyuu in regards to schizos - Aya Hirano's career was dead in the water for awhile thanks to boyfriend stuff swirling in the air. Madness.
I view Vtubing as just a more real time form of anime voice acting. Is this deadcuck cope? Maybe; I like Karen a ton and Mori ticks every anime girl design aesthetic I go for. I just don't understand how people can care so much - but that might be the only meds I'm on being for acid reflux.

To be fair it wasn't "boyfriend stuff". She fucked everyone in her band (except the bassist) and had pics leaked. She always seemed more interested in her music career than seiyuu stuff so it wasn't a huge loss for her.

She was also a giga-stacy since even before voice acting and shit talked otaku and anime in public appearances constantly so it's not surprising she became public enemy #1 among seiyuu nerds.

Selenchama, I kneel (even if ZBRA was practically hard carrying)
Selen did kill xQc once so there's something for the clippers.

Yeah. She also had some health issues that had an impact on her career, which tends to get overlooked because the band story is more entertaining.

Mumei and Fauna are still with their BFs and Cover did not drop their contract.
Is there anything to back that up? I kinda got the impression Mumei wasn't together with the guy from the facebook pictures anymore, but I can't remember why. I know Fauna mentioned Eddy while she was LemonLeaf, but I don't think there's been anything said since then.

It's been years so the hubbub makes sense if that's what happened.
Honestly since the Kannagi fiasco I lean towards fuck the hardcore otaku myself, but I get the backlash more now.

Stumbled on this tiny new v-tuber via Naname's Twitter. Who she's rigged by. She's only been at it for 2 weeks and only has about 33 subscribers, but she honestly doesn't seem half bad. Nice character art and decent rigging for a small indie.

Here's a fun rrat stormcloud. Try and guess which holomembers said "no" to being drawn by Mumei

*cough* Ayame *cough*

Mumei and Fauna are still with their BFs and Cover did not drop their contract. The situation with RushiNeko was that she disclose something to the JP Keemstar Korekore dude result in her breaking NDA and was fired.

Calli misunderstood the whole Rushia fiasco and throw a fits, which means that RushiNeko did dating that Mafumafu dude.
I could be wrong but I remember hearing that it's actually not really easy to fire someone for simply having a significant other under Japanese law. "Dating bans" tend to rely more on subtle pressure than outright "if you date, you are fired" written in ink. But yeah, Cover doesn't seem too concerned with this kind of thing, I doubt they care.
