It's insane that $90K is considered low income anywhere, but she didn't say why they're living there, and fresh berries, meat, and shrimp aren't poor people food.Surviving on $90,000 a year in California

Jesus Christ, $4,000/mo in RENT, what does that even buy in California? I looked around in my area to see what that kind of money would buy 30 acres of land with money left over to build a nice house, why do people live there?Surviving on $90,000 a year in California

Usually because they’re making upwards of $150K, which begs the question “why does her family live there?”Jesus Christ, $4,000/mo in RENT, what does that even buy in California? It’s San Fransisco, $90K/year is basically $65K/year in LAJesus Christ, $4,000/mo in RENT, what does that even buy in California? I looked around in my area to see what that kind of money would buy 30 acres of land with money left over to build a nice house, why do people live there?
Anything that's extremely perishable, not local, and out of season, will be high in price and should be first off the grocery list if you're struggling to get by. Berries aren't a luxury for you but you would probably stop buying, I don't know, bison if times got hard because you don't own a bison farm. That said I feel bad for you guys thinking shrimp and berries are luxuries. We grow a ton of food and are right next to the ocean, you can feed a family fresh high quality food without touching a can. They could live very well if they traded their car leases for cheap beaters and got a better deal on their rent, and the mom worked part time doing something.
Saying that days after your video gets destroyed with dislikes is classic Californian Cope lmao"This video is for educational purposes, not our real incomemade it for everyone who is thinking of moving to Silicon Valley like we did 6 years without really knowing how expensive it gets."
This tea set is a physical manifestation of the tea time feature's accoutrements, complete with the "same" 6oz ceramic tea cups and sample bags of tea formulations straight from the game. The matching tea pot featured in-game is not provided, which is unfortunate.
I was gonna say at least it looks nice. I know I ranted about this once already, but things that aren't "real" bug me. They bugged me even as a kid when I saw things like the shoes below because it was just crap with an image from the film slapped on it, and it felt like an insult even to my child-brain.That is a nice looking teacup, to be fair.
You think too well of them. This is likely the healthiest drink any if these weebs will ever have.
You see, there are jobs that pay more in California, so you make more money, then you take that money and use it to pay rent on your apartment that costs more than it would in other places, so it's a good thing you live in California where you can make enough money to afford that apartment.Jesus Christ, $4,000/mo in RENT, what does that even buy in California? I looked around in my area to see what that kind of money would buy 30 acres of land with money left over to build a nice house, why do people live there?
Aren't most newer real state developments in places like L.A. owned by the same megacorp's and big tech capital these people are most likely working for? Is like they get paid more then their employes get they money back via rent.Imagine making 90k a year and still paying rent. How pathetic
Yeah this all has a company store/grapes of wrath kind of feel to itAren't most newer real state developments in places like L.A. owned by the same megacorp's and big tech capital these people are most likely working for? Is like they get paid more then their employes get they money back via rent.

What do you think, guys?Yeah this all has a company store/grapes of wrath kind of feel to it
That, and the fundamentally weird concept of having slippers with a character's face in the middle of the brooch. The characters in movies, and people in real life, don't wear anything like that. It feels like a thing that comes from arrogant boomers that think kids are stupid and will buy anything with their favorite character's face on it.I was gonna say at least it looks nice. Probably the best gig in Tijuana that is not drug related.

I went on some USA house sale websites, and, it looks that purchasing homes in San Francisco costs more money than to rent.I didn't even think you could raise a family in the Bay Area on less than $100k, especially if you have to pay $4,000 in rent monthly. Spending two-thirds of your net income on rent is absurd though. I thought it was recommended for one to budget 25% or less of their earnings for a mortgage/rent payment.
