𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

Exactly. The cold reality is that we live in a world of scarcity, however nice it would be not to, and consequently those incapable of resource allocation can either be left to rot until they learn on their own, or else everyone dies when aforementioned imbeciles become too large a percentage of the population.
Survival of the fittest.

This is LITERALLY just like voldemort killing all the mudbloods.
The most interesting part of this is elon's statement that he'll make the algorithm open source. One can only hope that it sparks discussion on why companies like jewgle and faceberg keep theirs closed, and what they might be hiding within.

Elon can do what Tumblr did to finally get the leftists to leave: Ban the Child Porn. (And all the other porn, too.) Once that shit was banned (and Tumblr users were told no for the first time in their lives) Tumblr collapsed within a week or two.
Remember, CP is freezepeach but telling leftist propagandists that they are wrong about something is a hate crime.

Can't wait to watch Twitter burn down.

Idk what Elon's plan is but if he's not trolling with running a "to the letter of the law" free speech internet platform it's going to lose infinite money. You can reply to brand sponsored tweets just :story:
Hello brand here's the most offensive image I could find that's still legal to post on your timeline.

Certain government accounts by law can't block people so now I have to literally break the law before these people can be free of me? :stress:

I guess Elon's the one person who could fund this money pit forever so we'll see, should be interesting at very least but I highly suspect once people start testing the limits it's gonna turn into a trash fire.

I wish we were having the conversation on the Apple app store and other barriers put up by monopolies that prevent alternative platforms from making it instead of relying on benevolent billionaires to buy out platforms and run them as a public service. Hopefully Apple boots Twitter app and forces the government's hand with the antitrust stuff they've been sleeping on for the past 25 years.

I'll believe it when I see it. Still, seems to have a few trannies running scared.
Yeah I have serious doubts that it will come to pass as well. Still, this is the guy who wants to democratize AI and not have it controlled entirely by corporations (like the rest of the internet hint hint wink wink), so I'm strangely optimistic for once.
E: Oh yeah, and I'm wondering about that policy they implemented after the indian became CEO, the one about deleting pictures of people who didn't consent to their pictures being posted. Will he repeal that? Is that even enforced in the first place? I haven't heard a single thing about it since the announcement that it was a thing.

I'm encouraged by the leaks from Twitter insiders. I want to see Twitter crash and burn. Reddit, too.

I don't believe any antitrust investigation will be initiated if it has the capacity to further damage woke/globohomo hegemony.

They might go after Musk, but not anybody who tries to censor Musk. All they have to do is claim he's hurting "our democracy" and most of the public will support it.

You need to develop a little more faith in humanity.

Elon Musk is the Henry Ford of our time, singlehandedly moving to take out the tranny botnet when they are at their most vulnerable point and doing a hostile takeover of their headquarters
Doesn't quite hate jews as much as he should, but its a start by and large.

So just to make sure, does this qualify as the most expensive shitpost ever? I can’t think of anything else that’s both pissed off this many of the Usual Suspects and cost this much money.
You need to develop a little more faith in humanity.
I work retail, that shit’s LONG fucking gone.

His exact wording is 'I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.' 'Far' can do a lot of work. I'm sure he'll work in some kind of 'obscenity' exception.

No joke: If 43 billions could actually solve world hunger, why haven't we done it already? Can someone explain this to me? I'm pretty sure we produce more food than we need but the logistics and economics challenges just can't be solved, can they?
Because hunger never ends, and people in the places that are most affected by hunger are in places where self sustaining is impossible or they just dont care and prefer to get the gibs instead of bothering in learning of how to advance themselves

You could burn trillions of dollars but until you dont fix the fundamental problem, the reason those areas are suffering from hunger is like burning money for reddit upboats
That's the problem, the person who says retarded shit doesn't want to be laughed at
This, i mean if you see the leaks the main bitching of the Twitter staff is that they dont like to hear free speech in any way or form not because human rights or because is fundamental for a good debate, they hate it because "muh mental health" i shit you not they were using that excuse without a hint of irony

I hope elon clean house hear Mcdonald is raising wages now
@Jaimas should remember this one, iirc he had someone in Trust and safety that got fired later, Wu involvement was just sending report after report with mixed results
