I was not very well versed in clipping and archiving before but I did my research and now it works perfectly for me after some starting difficulties.
If I'm archiving stuff I use yt-dlp. When I want to clip something from an on going stream I copy the .part file, rename it to mp4 and use Kdenlive for clipping while the stream and yt-dlp are still running. Yt-dlp let you also download certain time frames from VODs without the need of downloading it completely (eg. 2:28:18 - 2:33:57 h) . It even works for instagram, twitter space, twitcast and many more websites. It's not very user friendly at first but damn powerful when you get used to it.
I think there are some problems with twitch live streams because of the ads (desync of Video and audio) but I only tried it on the VODs so far.

Cockpit view is fun after you beat the game a couple times.

It's fun doing a flip and seeing the missile just fly right by the cockpit
