yeah ace combat and PW are pretty much made for 3rd person flying since the flight models are too arcadey, so often you have to pull off manuvers that were simply not possible for anyone with a functioning brain or actual blood circulation, or the visibility from single cockpit

Watched the Monkey today. Shes not bad but her game is not fun to watch especially after being stuck on the same fucking stage for almost an hour.
Oh shit, what happened? 110k subs but last stream was 2 months ago. I remember they had a huge growth at the start but other than 1 of his first streams I never watched any of his streams. The fact that hes privating all of his streams is the real weird part for me. Why do that? Inb4 he pops up on the new Niji wave.

I always play Ace Combat in cockpit mode as any other view to me ruins the immersion. Its a pain in the ass to sometimes judge the proximity of objects so it also adds an extra challenge but on those missions where you have to go inside a tiny tunnel, it looks/feels amazing.
Somewhat offtopic (although in a way it has to do with Vtubing)
Since a few of you seem to actually have better clipping experience than me, what is the best way to get footage from a video. Hell, I have seen clippers clip shit 30 minutes after it happens and the streamer is still streaming. I need to find a better/faster way to actually get footage. Lets say I want to clip something that happened in the last 5 minutes of a 3 hour stream. Is there a way to get those last 5 minutes? Currently, I just wait for something to end, then I use 5KPlayer to get the footage but sometimes that shit takes around 2 hours to download a 1GB file. More often than not, that whole clip ends up with fucked up audio once I import it to DaVinci so I run it through another Video Editor (that doesnt have audio problems) cut out all of the excess, render it, and then import that to DaVinci to then edit.

It's a moot point, anyways. People can enjoy things in their own way, there isn't a "true" way of enjoying games. Otherwise the implication would be that disabled people and the like should be excluded from playing, which is fucking ridiculous!
The point stands, it isn't wrong to like more realistic games where you spend the vast majority of the gameplay walking from A to B or doing menial tasks, the retarded elitism begins when you say that they are the only true games of the genre and the like. Zealot Purists are usually so far deep in their own delusions of grandeur that they don't realize how fucking boring it would be if you only had a single kind of entertainment available, like if Hololive only had Sora-like talents. Nice deal for her fans, fucking boring for everyone else and you don't get much growth that way. Variety is cool and having better tastes doesn't make one better than another, acting like an narcissistic asshole does the opposite lol!

I honestly don't get why some people lust so hard after these girls, I do get the desire for women you like (I am a guy, after all, and I would be fucking lying if I said I would never seduce any of them if I could), but it's not like you can have an actual relationship with a 3D Avatar (so far), and even if you could it is to be noted that even if their characters are close to their real personalities, in life you get far more than just the screen personas they play. They have their own troubles, their bad days and the like that won't show up on stream no matter how thin the boundaries are, you can marry the woman behind the chuuba but never the chuuba herself. It shouldn't be anything but a pipe dream, the nurturing of these thoughts!

Alright. con ended a few days ago. Official numbers for 2022 is a whopping 17,878 attendees! 2019 was 13,076 so that's 4,000 more people. I wonder much this number is attributed to people preparing after two years of no cons (there was no cons in Hawaii in 2020 and 2021) and deciding to go all out in general because weebshit, and people going because DEMONDICE was invited to the con? I know a few DD fans literally flew to Hawaii just to buy the hundred dollar VIP passes that's why. Also, I think its confirmed DEMONDICE will appear next year in KK 2023 March 31st-April 2nd. barring any controversies that could happen in this 11 month time frame (Vic was announced to appear at Kawaii Kon 2019 in 2018, but was cancelled due to well, you can see in the Weeb Wars thread lol).
Can definitely feel the numbers too. The entire convention was absolutely packed. It literally exceeded the max occupancy of the Hawaii Convention Center and it's the biggest convention center there is in the entire state.

I also did check out the so-called 'VTuber Panel' on Saturday since I was always sorta let down by the Cosplay Competitions in previous KKs (they always put them up on YouTube later anyways) and it was around the same time I was tired so I figured to sit down somewhere to rest my legs after walking around in sweat and piss for 6 hours.
The panel was really just 45 minutes of some rando on a Google slide detailing a really basic history of VTubers before the host went in and spent the rest of the time advertising their own less-than-100 sub VTuber channel lmfao. I mean I know what to expect from a panel, especially hosted by a random person in a convention but it was just a whole other world of cringe. Also I don't even know much about this vtubing stuff but even her avatar reeked of asset flip trash lol.
I didn't get the chance to record but on YouTube a vlogger recorded a bit of that specific panel if anyone is interested let me know and I'll link it.
Where's the link of the set list if you may remember? I don't know the entire DEMONDICE discography but I recognized a few of her well known songs and MVs like Alkatraz. As for my estimates, it was a relatively short concert. About an hour or so, and it was from 9 PM to 10 PM, whereas before in Kawaii Kon concerts could end at midnight. Fox english learning stream. Couldn't watch the whole thing yet, but from what i've seen she struggles a lot with how differently the words are put in order in english and japanese - so it's more trial and error than strictly 'learning' english.

Phony seems to be the latest mass-covered vocaloid song in holo. Lamy and Kanata released their version last week, now it's Mio's turn. It's pretty good, but it's hard going up against suisei on a song like this.

The introduction was short, mostly just DD getting on stage and saying let's go. Although Teddyloid proceeded her mostly just getting the DJ set-up up and going. After that it was really straight forward, song after another with DD talking about what song she's about to sing and then doing it. Though she did talk some small stories about how tiring a performance can be (something about how a friend told DD: Eminem can do a concert and do 20% per song, but since he's so good 20% is like DEMONDICE's 100% so she says that she needs to git gud) and generally what each song meant to her.
Apparently Teddyloid also rapped with her as well? But I can't confirm since I never really heard him rap nor sing before, lol. It was hard to tell since he was mostly behind the DJ set.
Overall was an alright experience, just full of sweaty Filipinos and Micronesians of fucking course lol.
Another interesting thing I noticed: One fan raised a Shrek plush at the DEMONDICE concert, somewhere in the middle of it (same way you'd raise the light sticks) and DEMONDICE jokingly acknowledged it. I do see Shrek in her Twitter banner so its probably a fandom in-joke I missed out on but like, as I was looking for videos of KK on YouTube yesterday (mostly to see what I missed out at the event as the con was huge) I found that guy's YouTube channel and he's like a weird euphoric atheist incel who wears a top hat (guess fedoras aren't in fashion anymore) with a horrible looking neckbeard that was concealed by a facemask in the concert and he made a 15 minute YouTube rant bitching about how he didn't get an autograph from DEMONDICE despite doing that Shrek plush thing lol, but like he seemed genuinely sad or depressed from it? Idk it was a lot of rambling, but yes it was the same guy.

That's the rumor - nothing's been officially confirmed yet, though. Rosemi's mama, abandonrnk, has been completely radio silent on all social media since August 2021, and they were never that active before then, either. Their Pixiv profile also says they're currently unable to take new commissions.
I don't think they've explicitly talked about having a medical issue, but I also don't speak much Japanese. I believe the source of that rumor is their Twitter profile saying 療養, 'in recovery.'
