Future of the House

Barb let him in? Was this before Harriet and Tom came in? If so, that's pretty dangerous on Barb's part (despite her dementia, she's still an irresponsible moron). I wonder if Chris gets wind of tthis, will he reply in his usual delusions, or react as normal humans would: shock and fright?

Look what happened to drachenlord's House.
Now look at Chandler house.

You will see where this is going now that Barb is living with her relatives. Weens burglarize the house for artifacts - house is filled with squatters - police raid the house - City condems the house - house is bulldozed to make a vacant lot - hobo tent hotspots
Then there will be a risk a certain other lolcow will move in. Another troon, sex pest and hobo!

Who knows. In 20 years time. This house could a show home in Kings Dominion. It could probably bring in the attraction that Intimidator 305 lacked for all these years.

If I was rich I would buy it as is and turn it into a haunted house attraction. I'd even excavate to create lower floors

Redditfags baleted the post, anyone got an archive of the recent house pics?
There's an archive of the actual post floating around, pretty sure. But here are the pics.

This is a suburban house in the middle of a rural neighborhood, there is zero chance of any other way to use the house other than a single family residential. It'd be a terrible location for any commercial venture or social welfare program or anything. Not to mention how much that would piss off the neighbors.

I read/saw videos of Alex Trebek's estate sale. I wonder if Harriet or Tom would organize an estate sale? Or did they already get rid most of the stuff they were supposed to?

Probably zero chance of an estate sale. Very few estate sale companies are gonna wanna deal with a hoarder house like 14 BLC and frankly most of the crap in the house isn't worth anything. Sure maybe some Chris Chan memorabilia is in there but it's hidden in between garbage, worthless crap, rotting food, and water and fire damaged crap they saved from the house fire.

More likely the house just gets seized by the bank, to cover Barb's debts, who probably either demolishes the property or sells it as is.

If the claim about the house smelling like piss and BO are true, then once the bank gets the property and sells it, the new owner is almost 100% going to demolish the house purely due to the smell. You just can't get rid of bad smells if they're caked into the walls and floor. I'd also imagine that New 14BC would also not be a split level.
Don't dig too deep, too greedily. You might just unearth a great old one made entirely out of shit bought from Goodwill.
Nah, that's just Patti buried in the back yard.

Yeah, there's no way they'll waste money getting anything in the hoard appraised. Most of it was fire damaged or leftover garbage from literally any point in Chris's life so into the bin it went. Most if not all of the remaining Christorical artifacts in the house almost certainly have made their way to a landfill or, for the salvagable goods like the toys, scattered to the winds of Goodwill or some other widespread thrift store chain.

It would be so entertaining if a reality show got the house *sigh* Too bad it won’t happen.

I couldn't imagine someone willing to get a 30 yr mortgage on a house where cats and dogs piss and shit everywhere, old senile funk juice, and retarded son BO.
House needs to be torn down. Its crazy that Bob worked so hard in life, only to have his rewards to flush away

Tent and flush with ozone. It works. It kills mold and removes smells. Basically all the volatile organic compounds get oxidized and become inert.

Part of it also has to do with the house's own history. It did catch fire after all and there's also the overgrown shack in the back. It'll come down to what kind of investment will be the better return; purging the house with the ozone and trying to sell the house of what the community clearly considered the home of the village idiot, or tearing it down and redeveloping the entire plot into a new house built to modern standards.
