It's no wonder they compare everything to capeshit: they really do think the world is as simple as good guys vs bad guys and the good guys could quickly and easily usher in the utopia if not for the bad guys.

I don't know about other people, but my entire adult life has been one long nightmare of realizing the world is infinitely, unfathomably complex, that nothing can be taken for granted, that every detail always has to be accounted for, and no dilemma is ever completely solved.


They'll never leave. They're junkies who can barely go 24 hours without a dopamine fix.

The saddest thing about the current state of modern culture and society is that most people aren't intellectually and emotionally mature enough to handle not just free speech, but a world that is full of moral complexity and ideas alien to their own, so they retreat into a social bubble of like-minded people to seal themselves off from difficult thoughts and discussion.

Yep, A binary view point due to not actually understanding how the real world works is a real motherfucker to deal with. When you really understand how much you DON'T know about a topic is the day you really start to understand it. Even when you understand how to fix something you still can crate a problem out of that, it most likely wont be something that is too big of a deal but no solution is ever perfect.
