In a nutshell, as with the Chinese Flu megathreads, this thread is a good place to get a variety of news and information, from sources and people all over the world. It's an antidote to the mainstream media, if you will. A certain amount of shitposting and pigfighting is par for the course. When things look to be going too far, I remind people what we lose when the shitposting and pigfighting supplant valid news, information, and opinions.

That's basically the only reason I'm still here. All the OSINT accounts are either subtlety or overtly biased. Always useful to compile info from both sides of the aisle since nearly all those two sides are either saying "Russia is failing at literally every level and will completely collapse in a week" or "Russia is only a couple weeks maximum from taking not only Donbass but also Odessa."
