While Twitch is definitely the best platform for streaming out there from a user's perspective, it costs alot to run. Amazon wants it to be as profitable as possible since they're footing the bill. I wouldn't be surprised to see alot of Twitch streamers either making the jump to YouTube or at least taking advantage of the non-exclusivity. My personal hope is that since the user experience will be denigrating due to those pain in the ass non-skippable ads, maybe a true third challenger will arise and take the fight to both Twitch and YouTube. But it remains to be seen.

People with no idiosyncratic picks in their top x lists don't know what they're talking about. Only "contrarian" critics are trustworthy, because they're real fans; there are things they like too much.

Like if a dude says his favorite tuber is Aki Rosenthal, he's made either a very thoughtful or a stupidly passionate decision. Both are better than just copying the answer off somebody else. He's given you something to consider. That's the absolute least a critic should do.

They almost never do it.

Production Kawaii is owned (and I think managed by) 1 Japanese dude. They're one of small start up orgs, and probably one of the best performing ones of the 5 notable ones I think (being; Kawaii, Phase, Prism, Cyberlive, Tsunderia). So honestly I could see this happening, especially because some of them lean into the territory of GFE. Not going to lie though I want to see Amano Nene and Isla getting their 3D debuts.

The Twitch update is retarded, particularly them pushing streamers to run more ads yet again despite all the pushback last time. It just shows how out-of-touch they are with how people enjoy streams; it's one thing if you have a preroll or midroll ad on a prerecorded video on YouTube, but it's obnoxious during streams because you're going to miss some of the action while the ad plays.

This is only speculation but I have a feeling Twitch are having issues appealing to advertisers in general, so this is a move to boost their impression count to add value. People are barely seeing Twitch ads, and when they are it's on content a lot of advertisers would rather not associate their brand with like the ethot hot tub/microphone blowjob streams.

For anyone wondering why a vtuber would show up in person at a booth, I'm not too familiar with the Tsunderia lore but I believe the avatar is her own creation, originally using a vroid and she joined the company with the copyright.
Also she has done at least one IRL stream on twitch and might be masked up at Off-Kai. Her tits are a meme in Tsunderia's general on /vt/ They're pretty good.

this dude sucks Anthony Fantano's dick so hard it's cringe to bear witness too, his criticism of Demondice was beyond laughable, he sat there the whole time shitting on Karen's music, while at the same time doing cringe freestyle raps , that his obnoxious fanbase ate up and told him were good.

I hope he doesn't touch anymore vtuber music, there is some legitimately amazing music, he seems to like pretentious art shit, Im sure he would like something like "Unison" and as much as he hates demondice, Mori has some cool songs, he seemed to constantly shit on DD's production, but Mori has some of the best producers working on her new stuff, shitting on some of that would just make him look like a biased and ignorant loser, im kinda glad y'all clowning him here.

Download Streamlink and Chatty. Not only do you not have to watch ads, but you don't even have to touch their garbage website.
