Heartbreaking photos show a 6-year-old boy from Connecticut covered in burns and bandages in the hospital, after his family said he was set on fire by a bully in a horrific attack.

Most of Dominick Krankall's body is now swollen and bandaged up after the Bridgeport boy suffered second- and third-degree burns to his face and legs on Sunday. The boy's sister, Kayla Deegan, said her brother was playing in the backyard of their home off Louisiana Avenue in the afternoon with other children who live below them.

Heartbreaking photos show a 6-year-old boy from Connecticut covered in burns and bandages in the hospital, after his family said he was set on fire by a bully in a horrific attack.

"As soon as he walked down the stairs, the bully called his name and lured him over around the corner, and in a matter of seconds he came back around the corner screaming, saying 'Mommy, they lit me on fire,'" said Deegan.

She said that an 8-year-old neighbor got into a shed on the property, and he somehow gained access to some gasoline and lighters. That's when the boy called Deegan's little brother over.

"What he did was pour gasoline on a tennis ball, took a lighter, lit it up and just chucked it right at my brother's face — and then ran away from him and watched him burn," Deegan said.

Dominick was rushed to the burn unit at Bridgeport Hospital just before 4 p.m. Police said Tuesday that they are investigating preliminary reports of four unattended children seen playing with gasoline and lighting objects on fire.

Hospital officials said that the boy is expected to recover. Dominick is lucky to have survived the incident, but what happened to him left loved ones outraged — because they said that this incident isn't the first time the alleged bully has put him in the hospital.

"Two months ago under the bully’s mother's supervision, he was pushed into a wall and fell to the floor. And again, the mother refuses to admit her kid did it," said TKTK.

The family of the other boy did not wish to address the incident when reached at their home.

Police, fire, and the state fire investigation teams are investigating the cause of the child’s injuries, as well as the incident. As of Tuesday evening, no charges have yet been filed.

But Dominick's loved ones are calling for justice.

"It's heartbreaking, it's sickening to know the family. There's nothing being done about this," said TKTK. "This needs to be seen everywhere so everyone knows Dom’s story and what he had to go through, and the extent it went to for someone to hopefully do something."

The family is looking to raise money in order to help pay for the hospital expenses — and so they can move out, and find somewhere else safer to live.

While we don't have a way to play Guess The Race with this one, I feel like with the trajectory of this 8-year-old's "bullying", we'll have our answer in a couple years.

Police continue to investigate a weekend incident in which a 6-year-old boy was badly burned and hope a video might tell them more about how it happened.

The boy is in fair condition at the Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital, hospital spokesman John Cappiello said Wednesday.

“We’re doing our very best, as we do with all of our burn patients and any patients,” he said.

Bridgeport Police Capt. Brian Fitzgerald said detectives might have a video to help them with their investigation.

“We don’t know if it’s an accident, or intentional,” he said.

The incident happened on Louisiana Avenue in a neighborhood on the upper east side of Bridgeport . Police, fire and medics were dispatched about 3:45 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Police initially said only that a child was burned, and that “preliminary reports indicate that up to four unattended children were seen playing with gasoline and lighting objects on fire.” They stressed that they continued to investigate the precise cause of the child’s burns. No criminal charges were announced.

The family of the burned boy is raising money for his medical expenses in a GoFundMe fundraiser. In posts on the site, a relative identified as his sister alleges that the boy was attacked by a neighborhood child who they called a “bully.”

“In a matter of seconds he came back around the corner screaming, saying ‘Mommy, they lit me on fire,’” his sister told WNBC-TV.

The burned child’s mother said her son is expected to be in the hospital for a few more days. She said his face is swollen with blisters.

The fundraiser, which included pictures of the boy before and after the incident, raised more than $90,000 by mid-afternoon Wednesday, surpassing its goal of $50,000.

Looks like there's a video of the incident the police are looking it. But from reading this article it seems they want to be an "accident" rather than admit the kid was lit on fire.

Mom (Maria Rua) is Portuguese-American with an artificial orange hue that puts Trump and all chavs to shame for lack of a similar florescence. She almost looks like she is attempting blackface.

Looks like a fair number of Latino names in the neighborhood but two conspicuously black names in the block where I've gathered this family lives.

Poor 6 year old has 3 surnames in his family home (he is Krankall, mom is Rua, sister is Deegan) he was ngmi to start with.

This has more info including a video interview with the other kid's mom and she looks like a crack ho, but whitish.

A 6-year-old boy was hospitalized in Connecticut with severe burns to his face and leg which his parents said were the result of bullying.

"My 6-year-old son looked at me and he said, 'Daddy, he poured gasoline on a ball and he threw it directly into my face and he caught my face on fire with a fireball,'" the boy's father, Aaron Krankall, said.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon. Dominick Krankall was playing in the backyard with the 8 and 11-year-old sons of the family that owns the house on Louisiana Avenue.

"There was no bullying, whatsoever, involved. None," Laura Giacobbe said.

Giacobbe said Dominick's mother, Maria Rua, had agreed to keep an eye on the boys while she went out. At some point, a gas can was taken from a shed and a tennis ball was set on fire.

"She neglected these children outside. She neglected them. If your child is being bullied, would you leave your child out with somebody being bullied? That's the question," Giacobbe said.

"They can go outside, they'll be playing basketball for 5 or 10 minutes, and everything seems grand. And then maybe 10, 15 minutes goes by and someone gets pushed, someone gets tripped, someone gets hurt. And this has been going on and on and I am so sick of it," Aaron Krankall said.

Dominick was being treated for second and third-degree burns to his face and leg. His father said last month Dominick suffered a concussion after being pushed by the same 8-year-old child.

"I will not stop, though, until this kid gets put away because this is not okay. I need justice for my son," Aaron Krankall said.

There is a security camera that overlooks that backyard and part of this incident was captured on surveillance video which police are reviewing as their investigation continues.

Shit, they're eye-ties. I think we all lost a bet tonight.

Public record puts Giacobbe at 34 Louisiana Ave. This appears to be her social media. It looks like 34-36 are all one block of rentals.

Shit, they're eye-ties. I think we all lost a bet tonight.

So was it one of her kids that lit him on fire, or was she just a witness with opinions on how things should be done? It wasn't completely clear.

Anyways she had a new baby when interviewed for this article back in 2013 which would make that kid about the right age to be the attacker.

Well shit, I learned something today. Always thought Connecticut was just WASPs.
If you ever want a nice firsthand glimpse of the deterioration of America from about the mid 60s until now, then Connecticut is a great place to drive through. You can see exactly how great that state once was underneath the weathering of negligence, minority invasion, woke leftist policy, and overall govt. corruption.

Huge beautiful old factories now hollowed out for nignog storage or condos. Amazing old working class communities that are now enclaves for nogs and Puerto Ricans. Beautiful beaches that are now covered in ferals who must make sure you can hear their garbage ook-ook music blasting from a quarter mile up the beach. It is a place haunted by what it once was.

And that's just a few examples out of several.

Incidentally, it's also a great place to cure yourself of literally any/all sympathy or unfounded respect you may harbor for those poor disadvantaged minorities.

But Dominick's loved ones are calling for justice.
How un-American. Make your own.
Some little punk sends my kid to the hospital you best believe they get sent to a cartel traffic ring.

So Connecticut is just an extension of North Jersey I see...

This is the first stepping stone of a future serial killer's path. Usually it's animals at this age, but this kid is on a accelerated path doing it to humans. You already know his home life is fucked because there is no mention of the father. Prediction: he'll be caught for murder(s) in his teenage years and there will be outcry if this "child" should be charged as an adult for the crimes. We see/know the warnings, but want to look at the best of people; when we shouldn't.

Accurate summation of Connecticut. I'm going to expand on it a bit for those who aren't familiar with the state, to give them a better idea of just how not out of place an incident like this actually is.

In addition to the psychos like this, it's also one of the remaining places the Mafia is still an actual, relevant force -- they bilked the state out of a fortune via their contractors doing the I-84 overhaul in the 2000s, and nearly got people passing through the stretch of the highway that crossed Waterbury killed when the streetlights started tearing out of the shit concrete and falling across the road. Speaking of Waterbury, Bridgeport's big ghetto brother, it's its own special brand of crazy/stupid/ghetto, and has the honor of having spawned a dipshit who was graverobbing from the old Catholic cemeteries back around 2006. As one wise local man predicted during an interview -- "He a crackhead! Ain't no one else gonna be doin' that!" He was correct.

The state's also fucking wasteland when it comes to the economy, not much left but a few old finance and insurance firms, and Pratt/Sikorsky, which means it gets brain-drained hard by NY and MA. They're all horrifically expensive to live in, but at least you can find a job in the latter two states. The landscape is utterly beautiful when you get away from the dying cities, though -- the peak of leaf season in the mountain foothills is something words can't properly describe. Best I can do to give a hint of what it's like is, it's like the forests become made of stained glass and glow with their own light.

I dunno, could make a strong argument that any vote for "niggers" still counts as a win in this situation.

Wiggers are just niggers that haven't been left out in the sun long enough yet.

It's not a niglett, the kid was smart enough to understand chemichal reactions at age 8, its a 0.001% he was black.
Nah, I'd say that if we learned anything from the BLM riots, setting shit on fire is one of the things they do really well.

Could even look at the big riot that hit South Africa a while ago, 'cause one of the most damaging things they did was set fire to a chemical plant.

This is the perp’s mom? She may be white, but she’s an honorary nigger, due to her fluency in dindu.
