Off-Topic Troon sightings in the wild

Idk if they’re trans, but once in a while I see a guy in an anime wig and a dress (cosplay?) with huge fake tits walking around town, apparently he’s infamous(?) in this area. I heard he started doing this after his parents died or something. I also heard that he’s not malicious or whatever, but I dunno.

One time in another city I lived in, I saw an old man in a ratty blonde wig and a dress pushing a baby cart with a baby doll inside. I vaguely remember him also wearing shitty makeup, but I’m not sure because I was trying my best to avert my gaze. Apparently he’s also infamous in the area. That one really creeped me out, not gonna lie.

I live in Japan BTW.

yesterday i got accosted by a retail troon while clothes shopping. it was at one of those cheap women’s club clothing stores, like Express or H&M or something; i was looking for a throwaway white button-up to go with my suit for a funeral. in the wild, troons often believe i look friendly as i do have visible tattoos and usually wear black, artsy-punk type clothes. he was a garden variety stereotype with the long stringy fried hair, empty pink lacy cami, atrocious turquoise eyeshadow and smeared lipstick, etc. anyway, he bounced up to me, and started in on the beginning of his routine in a strained falsetto. i pointedly took off my headphones and listened silently.
(side note: i used to work in retail, and maybe it’s my female socialization talking, but i never bothered people who were browsing with big ass headphones on. seems like a clear signal they don’t want to be bothered.)
when he finally got to the end of his breathless spiel about this dress and that sale and how cute the new summer items are, he asked me what i was looking for. i said “funeral clothes,” put my headphones back on, and left. this may have been bitchy of me, and i am almost always extremely nice to retail and food service workers because i remember how bad it sucked to work those jobs, but he caught me on the wrong fuckin day lol. i was already in a complete shit mood, and would prefer to die myself so my family could attend two funerals this week, before i would allow myself to be followed around a store playing mannequin for a middle aged AGP.

re, your second paragraph, we have that
exact same guy in Vermont.

Last week I was invited to drink with some friends of my old uni promotion at the nearby metropole which was also where we did our studies, that was also a good event for us in order to talk about our lives.
However I was a bit taken aback when I arrived where we were supposed to meet, you guessed it, there was a MtF troon amidst our little group. I later learned that he was the shy guy of our promotion, a very sweet guy, shy but very smart who helped most of us when we had troubles understanding lectures. I was quite saddened once I learned about that especially since there were no hints about him wanting to transition nor trying to act like a girl.

My troon-dar blared upon seeing him because he never really had any feminine trait and his jaw aswell as his shoulders were a straight giveaway, he was wearing a purple dress which seemed a bit too tight for him and he clearly was wearing a wig, long and wavy dark hair, since I could see the wig cap on his forehead from time to time.
I wondered if that was his first night out in heels because we had to slow down since he had troubles following us, everytime we had to stop I was wondering if he had sprained his ankle but nothing of the sort happened fortunately (?)
I kept our discussions to the minimum since I truly felt uncomfortable around him and the fact that he was now awkward socially didn't helped at all, from what I remember he was doing something completely different from what we studied (Biotechnologies) and tried to get a foot into politics but to no avails since, and I quote, "Our society is inherently racist and transphobic". That's when I completely stopped talking to him for the rest of the evening and decided to spend time with other people.

However as the night was going on and we were drinking, he became even more awkward and tried to flirt with some of us even with those that were already in a relationship, one of our male friends took him outside of the pub probably to tell him to stop because once they came back, he was almost almost speechless unless someone talked to him directly then less than one hour after he was taken outside, he excused himself and left us.
As a sign of respect for his help back in our student years I decided to not talk about that with the others but I clearly heard that some were as concerned/uncomfortable as I was and didn't understood what happened to him.

If I had to take a wild guess it would be that when he began to search for ways to get into politics he probably went down a rabbit hole he shouldn't have to and was completely brainwashed.

A FTM troon moved to my neighbourhood and I see her at my local supermarket. The first time she walked in front of me in the street and into the supermarket so I had some time to observe. 5'3, petite, with a big unwashed pube 'beard' and an unwashed jewfro, she just looked gross. She also swayed her hips like a cat in heat so immediately clockable. Yesterday I saw her again but with a normally dressed woman, who looked absolutely miserable. They spoke American English. I wouldn't be surprised if the troon moved across the world so she could isolate her girlfriend and prevent her from escaping.

Also saw a teen AGP with his mom at out national celebration yesterday. Dressed as a bimbo whore of course. Good parenting.

I have no one else I can vent this to. I'm being forced to train a gender special at work. It's only for one day (thank god) but I already hate this lady and I've only met her once. Literally looks like any other late 20s, early 30s woman, but *gasp* she has short hair and uses they/them pronouns. She legit asked me and my co-workers our pronouns.

I thought after meeting her, that was the end of it, since she doesn't even work in the same city as me, but no. Now I'm being forced to train and talk with her all day. I don't know what to do. I'm not a rude person, and I hate making people feel awkward, so I'm not going to be mean or rude to this lady. But I also don't want to just accept this and act like I'm okay with pronoun BS either. I want to make it clear that I won't be forced into compelled speech, but I'm worried I could get fired or at least start some stupid drama at work.

Idk what I'm going to do. This sucks.

Try to remain polite and professional at all times, sticking to work-related topics while ignoring personal and political things. You're there to train a new hire, not to make a new friend.

Of course this is all easier said than done.

I certainly plan to do just that. I doubt she will keep it that way though, she was already really obnoxious and condescending when we were introduced to her. She indirectly insulted our state (She's from California, we live in the South) and has already made quips about how many Trump signs she's seen in everyone's yard.

Keep in mind, I don't like Trump, but I'm not going to go and possibly insult my co-workers by talking bad about him. I thought keeping politics out of work discussion was just common sense.

I was at a spring festival recently, and spotted a classic MtF troon walking by with a leopard-print dress on, stringy hair, and actual 5-o-clock shadow probably around 6 feet tall or so. It's crazy how even with a swarm of people all out to enjoy this festival, some primordial part of your brain can zero in on a troon like it's trying to determine if this thing is a potential threat. There's another one who works at a supermarket I go to and it was painfully obvious even with masks on that this was a broad-shouldered choker-wearing man pretending to be a woman, especially when he was standing around his smaller, real woman coworkers. From what I've seen, the whole passing thing is either a cope or a fantasy.

I saw a Troon on Friday the 29th of April.

I live on the Isle of Wight, so one of the places I frequent is an amusement park called Blackgang Chine. It's a good place, you get good rides, bit this year they decided to bring in new rides to spice things up. And also new staff members.

I went there to try the new rides, I went to the till to prove I had my joint season pass, AND THERE SHE WAS. At first glance, I thought she was just a till lady. Then, I saw she had a PRONOUN BADGE reading "he/him".

Eeyeah, I have a baaaad feeling about what will happen to the Chine now they're bringing in IdPol loons.

I'm surprised by how infrequently others in this thread encounter troons. Most of the ones I meet are FtM, so not as bad, but one of my coworkers is one and she's quite annoying. Wears aggressively stereotypical "softboi" clothing and yaoi anime merch, generally ineffective at job, complains a ton. The other day she ended up having to deal with a slight issue a customer had (they weren't even angry) and she claimed the situation gave her anxiety and thus was unable to do our other work for some time after. Our workplace is very progressive and no one "misgenders" her outloud, but may coworkers always share a look when talking about her that makes me think they also have trouble taking her maleness seriously. Owns a ton of "he/him" merch too, all in pink and holographic.

Why do all the FTMs have claim "anxiety"? I love it when these bitches realize men can't cry themselves out of a bad situation.

On March 3, 2018 at a MUNI Metro stop in San Francisco, CA I encountered one of the most famous troons in the wild: Char the Butcher aka "Die Cis Scum"
