My "favourite" gender by far is circumgender, or a cis person who identifies as a trans person of the opposite gender that wants to transition into their sex. Example: a female who believes they should have been born male that identifies as a trans woman in order to transition into a woman. I'm still half-convinced to this day that it's a joke and should not be taken seriously.

It’s kind of like a really really extreme version of how the anime nerds talked when I was at school.
But this was way prior to when you could live your entire life online.

Imagine being a random Bri’ish mum and your weird son sounds like that for some reason? (I imagine him to be fatherless, as any UK father would wallop the shit out of a child talking like that)
Unless he only puts it on for the videos which is.. worse? But it sounds very naturalised to him now.

I assume someone has commented, but anyway.

There is no “house arrest” in the uk. He mentions a tag; this could possibly be whilst on bail to enforce a curfew (if he has not yet appeared in court), but is much (much) more widely used either as part of a community sentence (post conviction) or as a condition of release from jail whilst on licence. Ie, your sentence is not yet over, you can be recalled to prison for breaches of licence conditions.

There would be no way of enforcing any kind of therapy whilst on bail. There’s an outside possibility Manchester might still be operating restrictions on bail, meaning (if his alleged offending was drug related) he could be required to see a drugs worker as a condition of bail. That would not be more than once a week, at most, and is only really for heroin (and perhaps crack, but methadone for heroin is what it’s geared up for).

It’s possible to impose treatment orders as part of a community sentence. So, if he’s been charged and found guilty, he could be tagged and given a community sentence with (for example) a drug rehabilitation requirement or alcohol treatment requirement as components of that sentence. It’s frankly bullshit to refer to most workers on drr programmes as “therapists”; the mainstay of them has historically been fairly low grade group therapy. Same for most probation programmes tbh.

If he has been stealing prolifically, he could also be engaged by something like integrated offender management. More resources, aimed at the most troublesome and persistent offenders. Again, you might be seeing someone three times a week but calling them “therapists” would be a stretch. (Case managing police officer, probation worker, drugs worker. For example).

Manchester may also be an “ADDER” area, with increased resources for drug related crime. Again, that could up the number of contacts for priority drug involved offenders but… you’re hardly going to be receiving Freudian psychoanalysis three times a week. Chris and Dave the recovery coaches, and a group treatment session, perhaps.

All of this - plus his references to five weeks clean - suggest a conviction for drug related offences. It may or may not be findable in court records (I suspect it would have been if it were there). Most likely at magistrates courts which are frankly low end - and I’m not sure if records would be available.

It could be something else. Sexual harm prevention order?! I don’t know if the sex offenders treatment programme runs in the community (versions of it used to) but there would be an element of (usually group) therapeutic work.

Across all of these possibilities, openly discussing an offending history and / or unsanctioned sexual offences would be absolutely unhinged, as it would (absolutely) concern any probation officer. He’d be making himself a target (quite apart from any additional disclosures, which could lead to additional sanctions and investigations).

I'll be honest, that's the one type of trans I aspire to be: being able to get accents down and trick people into thinking I'm from a different country. I think someone said upthread that OP might be using some sort of software to alter their accent? If so I want to know what it is.

I’m a bit late on this, but I do believe there is a way to redemption this just isn’t it. First of all therapy is good but change must be proven, reveal through actions what your willing to do to be a better person. Second do not ask for forgiveness, wait for it to be granted to you, there are many who will never forgive and for good reason considering what has been done. Third you are looking for the wrong forgiveness, if you ask your critics for forgiveness rather than victims of yourself and others are you truly seeking reformation or simply restoration of your reputation and freedom from consequences.
