This has probably tossed around here on this forum but my theory on why he stalls in this game.
First, it to get to the boss at the last 40ish min of his stream so he doesn't have to stream himself failing at it for to long.
Second, it keeps the most viewers for him because people are waiting on that specific fight so even if people leave they'll comeback to see if he's done it.
Third, it gives him time after stream to "strategize" so when he comes back next stream he'll look like an alpha chad defeating easily.
Lastly, it compels his wheelchairs and trolls to atleast contribute to guide him (even though he's know's what he's doing).

I know Phil is financially illiterate, but do you guys think he genuinely doesn't understand that people can't give him hundreds of dollars as SuperThanks and still have the usual amount of money to give as tips?

Or does he delude himself into thinking that there are hundreds of people who have started giving him money through SuperThanks, instead of the obvious truth that it's just the old whales with sock accounts?

As usual with Phil, the question isn't whether he's wrong or not, but in what way he's wrong.

That's a great way to retain viewers who have already bothered to become members for more than 24 hours just to speak - call them these people.

Well it didn't take long for Phil to break down and start whining after trying to maintain his facade of doing big thinkies to conjure up a strategy to beat Malenia. It's like he has to relearn the entire game for this fight since he can't jump R2 her like he did everything else.
