I know Phil is financially illiterate, but do you guys think he genuinely doesn't understand that people can't give him hundreds of dollars as SuperThanks and still have the usual amount of money to give as tips?

Or does he delude himself into thinking that there are hundreds of people who have started giving him money through SuperThanks, instead or the obvious truth that it's just the old whales with sock accounts?

As usual with Phil, the question isn't whether he's wrong or not, but in what way he's wrong.

Phil genuinely believes everyone is withholding tips unfairly - if he has 300 viewers there's no reason for him not to get at least $300 in tips because surely hours of free khantent is worth at least $1 to everyone watching

Phil again confirming that he hides that tip for possibly hours before reading it out. But he also then wants to play victim and will pretend that he didn't just read it out so he can make it sound like he hasn't been tipped in hours. Unjustifiable sleaze.

he has a insanely unhealthy relationship with money because he never had to work for a single $. yet he still made bank year after year for over a decade, never had to budget and no consequences for his lavish lifestyle and spending. just ask for more money.
thats also why he spends so much on mobilegames and ordering food.

he has no idea know how much 100$ really is, for him it just sending out a beg tweet and get paid. he is a spoiled brat stuck inside a 40yo man.
he doesnt realize that in the real world people have to really "bust their ass" to get 100$ and not just roll out of bed and play videogames for couple hours.

This is a man who compared a Kirby game to Fromsoft and ragequit a boss with the most broken power in the game.

but i guess the combination of malenia healing is actually hurting phils tanks strat.

this may be a hard boss for him. he will have to learn her attacks and dodge.

Malenia doesn't really care about Phil's strat. He very much relies on facetanking and building stagger damage rather than actually dodging anything. The healing doesn't matter since she would eviscerate Phil anyway.


For comparison, I was watching Dark Dave's restream and for some reason people started talking about Shirogane Noel's attempts against this boss.

While it isn't shown here, Noel was half Phil's level, was using a sub-optimal roleplay in-character build with a giant 2H mace, and was streaming for 10 hours before finally downing her. She puts Phil to absolute shame considering he boredquit DESPITE HAVING 2.5X HIS NORMAL VIEWERBASE.

Ignoring the absurdity of this lazy fat fuck fighting a seasoned demigod that would make mincemeat out of any real world person, living or dead, the fact that he doesn't understand inertia of all things is...kinda jarring. It's an achievement in ignorance.
