When I used to watch Off Topic, he'd sperg on every time Space X did a launch and was always talking about how he'd love to work for them one day. But what qualifications did he have? Was he just planning on being a janitor?

The answer to this is never get on the last charger/petrol station home. This is one of two things:
1: There was other chargers he could have gone to, and this is entirely his fault.
2: There were no other chargers he could have gone to on the way home, and his entire capacity is not enough to get from work back home. What kind of idiot would buy a car with that kind of limitation?

This is why I still find the idea of owning a Tesla to be stupid. It's an overpriced, underperforming, piece of shit EV you could get in a market full of Chevy Volts, Nissan Leafs and, if you want the real humble brag, a BMW i3. All of which can charge better on your normal outlet compared to a Tesla.

The Leaf is worse than a Tesla, the Volt is no longer in production (as far as I'm aware).
 
Owning a Tesla is the apex of consoomer culture so it doesn't surprise me that Jack owns one. IMO EVs are not at the point that they accomplish the same things as a gas vehicle does yet. I might be ignorant about this part but I think that maintaining an EV on your own or salvaging parts from an EV is more difficult. You're forever at the mercy of the manufacturer.

This is a similar thing to how Apple operates, but at least there is some enterprise need for some of their products as they are the only ones that can accomplish it. There isn't an enterprise need for Tesla products. Their transfer trucks fail to meet the needs and demands of the field they are trying to break into.

Maybe if Jack didn't spend all his money on e-waste Tesla vehicles and fleshlights he could have retired by now and not be one of the few people that actually stuck around on the sinking ship that is AH.

EV cars are not even environmentally viable. Ignoring the massive amounts of mining it takes to get the materials to make an EV car (specifically the lithium battery), Most electricity still, and for the coming future likely will continue, to be supported by Coal, making any supposed environmental friendliness negligible if not an outright lie.

I'm only still subbed to them incase anything actually interesting shows up but in the 5 months since I last fully watched a video there's been next to nothing.
I say next to nothing because I've watched two. If those two videos hadn't been uploaded or had shit people in them I wouldn't have watched. Anyway the two videos were Trivial Pursuit, which was good and the first episode of Survive Block island (won't be watching the rest because not giving them money). Good audio levels in both videos. Both had shouting but it's as if the engineer finally learnt the job and made the necessary alterations.
That's it. That's all I want to say.

Yeah, it was the total lack of shame that pissed of Hembo. His major point in his write-up was that Ky didn’t say she was ashamed or felt guilty, but bragging when she comes of as well off enough to not need to shoplift.
