An update:
Benjanun eventually returned to Twitter, Tumblr (of course) and her main blog, still minimizing her involvement in the trolling and insisting that people were now threatening her life and being meeeeeeeean to her poor oppressed Thai queer-lady self.
Then someone uprooted her actual identity: her name is Venesa Burranupakorn, the daughter of a family of Chinese-Thai billionaires who own a successful chain of hotels. She was born in the US and enjoyed a debt-free college education in San Francisco, after which her family connections landed her a job managing one of her uncle's luxury hotels in Thailand. She was manager there when a tourist died in the hotel after being poisoned by an insecticide allegedly used on the hotel mattresses to kill bedbugs. She then went on to manage another one of her uncle's hotels, where, in 2011, six tourists died in an identical poisoning incident. The hotel originally blamed these deaths on food poisoning from a local street vendor and "bad luck." The poisoning was only confirmed after investigative journalists from New Zealand posed as tourists and did their own testing, as the corporation hired by the hotel kept conveniently losing their samples. No one was ever charged in either incident.
PLEASE NOTE: no one has ever seriously considered that Burranupakorn might have deliberately or directly poisoned these hotel guests. The deaths themselves were ruled accidental, albeit caused by irresponsibility on the part of the management...which consisted of Venesa Burranupakorn/Benjanun Sriduangkaew. At best, her role is criminal negligence. However, given Burranupakorn's open hatred and disdain for white people, accompanied with the glee she took in imagining creative ways for white people to suffer and her relentless, years-long campaigns of harassment against people she considered deserving of punishment for the sin of being stupid fucking white people, a lot of her detractors have wondered aloud what her reaction must have been to white tourists dropping dead on her watch.
The moral of the sad tale of Winterfox is that if you have enough of daddy's money, you can call other people out on their privilege while getting away with actual, literal murder.
